History

Nirooy was born in Gnomergan. His father, Histor Sparklebend, was an engineer who traveled around the world to sell his goods or to find new ideas for a new machine. His mother however was just a simple woman who loved to cook and make sure everything at home was just perfect. Imma Sparklebend hoped to see her son become an engineer just as his father. But that wish was about to be corrupted.

When Nirooy was about to tell his mother that he had decided to become a mage, he got interrupted by screaming and yelling. Nirooy looked out of his window and saw that Gnomeregan was getting overrun by Troggs. He ran over to his mother and pulled her by her sleeve out of the house. At first it looked as if they would make it out alive together, but then three Troggs caught his mother, pulling her back into the city as Nirooy and his mother were almost there. He looked back and shook his head. He knew that he had to improve his powers, if he ever wanted to have a chance against these beasts.

Two days had past, and Nirooy finally reached Ironforge. His clothes were soaked by the snowstorm he had to endure while he was on his way. He rented a room in one of the Taverns. Two days later he had found a mage who helped Nirooy to get to Dalaran, by creating a portal to the city. It took Nirooy a few hours to finally reach the Violet Citadel and convinced the mages to take him as their apprentice. His training finally started. And he knew that he would become a mage one day.

He studied day and night, pushing himself to become great in his studies, becoming stronger and learn more than any other, just so he could find a way to fight whenever the opportunity arises to retake Gnomeregan.

Now that Nirooy finally has completed his training among the mages of Dalaran. He decided to come back to Azeroth and find others who might want to study and practice among him...
