Pants/shirt cloth with bits of leather, varying degrees of cleanliness and quality.

Other: Nali's small stature is attributed to the fact that as a whore's neglected daughter and as an orphan she received very little proper sustenance. She was malnourished most of her life and it is a miracle she survived. She was somewhat better fed at the orphanage but the damage to her growth was already done.

Personality

Nali is impetuous and exuberant, a normally kindly young lass with a very curious nature. Her personality is ever fluid and changing however because of those she lives with and the strange happenings that tend to befall her family. Recently, her curiosities have taken a turn for the dark and morbid. The little twists and changes of her life have strongly affected her sense of morality.

The changes to her morality are very simple and subtle. A lack of empathy for those "stupid" enough to get killed or tortured by members of the household. A very soft view on death, a lack of impact when those she does not know well die. Greed and immoral behaviors of those around her are completely overlooked due to her inability to do anything about them. In short, she is beginning to view her horrific environment as normal.

History

Timeline Style:

Ages 0-5: Nali lived these years at a tavern and inn owned by dwarves. Her mother was a small woman for her profession and provided an exotic "treat" for dwarven men. A great deal of Nali's accent was influenced by her time with the dwarves. She has a horrible incurable hint of female brogue to her inflections.

Ages 5-10: These years were spent in Elwynn Forest, her mother managed to get a job as a bar wench at the Goldshire inn. (A questionably respectable job.) During this time she got quite a bit of tutoring from the local forest dwellers in the art of thievery. She also learned to pull her own little cons and trick poor souls out of their hard earned coin. Of course, all her coins went to her mother and were quickly wasted on alcohol and 'beauty potions' which were really a horrible drug that some bastard had addicted her mother to.

Ages 10-12: These short years were quite significant because Nali was on her own. Her mother passed away twenty-three days after her tenth birthday and the young girl was left to fend for herself in a world unforgiving of youth and innocence. Though, it was questionable at this point whether this particular ruffian youth could be portrayed as innocent. She thieved to stay alive, there was no time or reason for her to mope and mourn her mother, not if she wanted to continue breathing. On a botched thieving mission into a small cottage near Northshire Abbey, she found herself caught red-handed by a kindly old priest. The old man eventually managed to talk her into getting respectable work, he took her to the Stormwind Orphanage and introduced her to the matrons there. She was too old to be coddled but she wholeheartedly embraced working there.

Ages 12-18: She spent these years working in the orphanage. Her duties included many things she was familiar with already and plenty she was not. She was expected to clean up after the small children, run messages for the matrons, watch after the young ones at times and perhaps the most baffling duty to her, she was expected to learn. They sent her for at least two hours a day to be tutored in the Cathedral by some of the priests who worked charity cases and though they hoped she might, she never showed any interest in joining the clergy and learning the spells she studied. What interested her most was magery but she was quite positive she would never have the money to afford a mage tutor. Two weeks after her eighteenth birthday she was approached by a very noble looking priestess who claimed that not only was Nali her sister but that her family wanted her home. Nali was soon spirited away to the stormy madhouse that is Castle Blackstone.

Skills and Abilities

A variety of very fail spells, very nearly untrained in many areas so far. As a former orphan/street ruffian she has a few knife skills but no formal training with them.
