When heading into battle, he is covered head-to-toe leather or mail/plate armor. Most of his armor is a thick leather to protect him from the heat, along with perhaps leather-interior armored foots and pauldrons.

Other: His body is covered in battle scars and burn-scars. Careful with fire, ya crazy Dwarf.

Personality

Putting aside his extreme like of anything fire-related(he sometimes likes to play with Gnomish lighters, just to stare at the flame on and off when he's bored), he can be very hot-headed(no pun.. well, semi-intended) at times, such as when he needs to deal with members of the Horde, mainly Orcs and Blood Elves; Orcs because of his experiences in the wars, and Blood Elves because he sees them as traitors to the Alliance.

But when around his friends, or when he's in battle, he's always grinning and happy and cheery. He likes cracking (bad)jokes left and right, laughing and drinking among his mates(and other random people that may be nearby), always loving to tell some crazy story where he singed half of his beard, or had to roast down some wooden barricade to make way for his allies to attack, or some other crazy thing.. Truthful story-telling not always guaranteed. To put simply, he's fun-loving and likes to avoid being serious, as he finds it boring.

History

Lyser was born into a pretty large family, being the middle child of five, there was always conflict among the household. Always something happening. Whether it be two children fighting, four crying over something and all blaming each other. It was never quiet, and it sure was never dull. The Frostforge family was a loud, rowdy one, always fighting and screaming, laughing and clapping, crying and blaming. A dysfunctionally functional family. Lyser and his siblings were raised to love their family and their people above all else, and they all held true to that. One of Lyser's brothers grew up to be a tinker, loving all of the engineering thingies and all, going off to help further Dwarven technology. His other brother and one of his sisters became scholars, said-sister even learning the Arcane arts! Lyser and his sister went off into military training, always being the bigger ones, and always being at odds with each other, they were very competitive with.. everything. But playfully competitive.

Lyser was always an eager(or impatient) one. Eager to learn(things that interested him, anyway), eager to fight, eager to do -something-. Always one for instant gratification. In his earlier years, he'd almost started a large fire in his house as it was his turn to prepare the stove for supper. He'd gotten the crazy idea that making the fire larger would make it go faster.. so he added more fuel to the fire. Well, the fire did get bigger.. Much faster than he expected it to, and he ended up burning his eyebrows off.. for the first time of many times that would come. And that was the start of what would set him down the path of destruction.

Lyser eventually joined the military, as he planned to when he was a child, and remained there for most of his life. He originally trained in close-range and melee combat, always ready and willing to run up into his enemy's face and stomp 'em out. It fit his overly-eager personality and gave him something to look forward to. As the years went on, he continued playing with fire in his spare time.. Usually having a large fire in the fireplace, or simply lighting and relighting candles in his room when he was bored. Little things like that. The crazy dwarf wished to use fire in combat.. He'd seen mages use fire magic, and was amazed, but he had no affinity for it whatsoever. He tried. But, no patience, and just not very good at even attempting to pull off a spell, he quickly gave up(one day of 'trying' gets you nowhere, silly Dwarf). Oh, how he longed to be able to torch things.. Crazy Dwarf. He even brought it up to his tinker-brother while they were all visiting home. Technology was advancing fast, but at the time there was nothing that could harness the power of fire like that and be very safe.. But still.. He could dream!

The First and Second Wars came.. Some time after the Second War, his brother came to him, telling him of a breakthrough. Though he'd have to wait, he was told that he was close to getting his wish. Lyser was overjoyed and eagerly awaited word from his good brother. Upon finally getting word, he managed to get a hold of this new.. 'flamespitter' among other things it was called. He was taught the basics of using it, along with being told to keep his body safe, as it was very dangerous. He nodded and went about learning and using it.. but then the Third War came. In the Eastern Kingdoms, the flames were nice when dealing with the undead creatures of the north, but he had limited use, as it was seen as too volatile during combat, so it was limited to after-battle mopping up.

After the Third War, the Dwarf resigned the military and soon met up with a war-buddy of sorts, a Dwarf going by the name of Cadmael Cairnsmith. This 'buddy' took in the lone Dwarf and his crazy weapon.. Of course, nowadays they were a bit more acceptable, but the number of 'flametroops' were still limited. Being given the nickname of 'Smokey' by his new squadmates, he now goes about, serving with Cairnsmith to aid the Explorer's Guild with excavating new things about the Dwarves' history, but he isn't officially a member, only lending a helping hand to a friend and his fellow Dwarves.
