Personality

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral

Some would describe Lyraella as a boring individual, she does not seem to enjoy talking too much and keeps her sentences short and to the point. She is not spontaneous to too active in regards what some would call 'fun', either. Rarely, she does drink. And often, she seems obsessed with her task or latest assignment. Naturally, as a dead shot, she has become as patient as a rock which waits to be washed away by the next tide. Sometimes, this appears as if she was slow, waiting quite the time after one has finished their talk, to wait if they would add something, before answering. If she is even spoken to, that is. Perhaps these are few of the reasons she rarely makes a friend, one she would even be willing to talk to, properly. Her actions are nigh-always calculated and calm. Additionally, she is -very- slow to anger. Very, very rarely she would show open hostility, she finds such behaviour below her and instead appears as ever, patient, calm and neutral. Lyraella is also a plotting, cunning individual, planning the next steps and attempting to gain her advantage out of a situation.

Very few have seen Lyraella in rapture, talkactive and friendly to her utmost degree. However, if Lyraella has found a friend, she would never think of betraying one, or breaking the loyality to another. Mayhaps only if for her own, current goal...

She holds a rather hateful view on most Humans, their betrayal still lingers in her mind, the Kaldorei, she sees as misguided and pre-judiceful, incapable of dealing with. However, she holds a fairly good view (compared to Humans, atleast) upon gnomes, mostly because the gnomes are as obsessed with Engineering as Lyraella is. Undeads are viewed with a tad bit of hate; mostly due to the fact of them being the ones who attacked Quel'thalas, or atleast of the same species. She sees the dwarven marskman as rivals, always wanting to best them, for they are rather renowned for their abilities. Beyond this, she treats her own race fairly neutral, sometimes showing kindness, if only for the sake of not wishing to be entirely rude. She views orcs and trolls as the same; savages who dare not thinking. Tauren are held in slight respect, mostly due to their patience and occasional wisdom, she has stumbled upon. Draenei are viewed with slight distaste and yet fascination due to their intriguing Engineering.

History

Born in the outskirts of Goldenmist Village, Quel'thalas to a seamstress and an arcanist as a father, Lyraella's childhood was a rather boring one, visiting school and occasionally playing with friends, and what else one would do as a child... Yet, as she grew older, one event occured in her life, in her teenage years, her brother brought home a blunderbluss, the thing immediately seemed to flare up Lyraella's interest in engineering, watching the rifle with quite the fascination. She swore to herself to create such a thing and learn to handle this weapon one day, much to the disliking to her parents but yet, not even punishment could stop her...

She reached her adulthood and sent a letter towards her brother, requesting materials to build herself this weapon, she had seen long ago. Weeks of waiting followed, she had no 'real' work, so to speak but merely worked as a barkeeper in an inn within the walls of Silvermoon, hoping for the long awaited package to arrive. The day had come, the metal-parts, gears and other outlandish material for a Quel'dorei had arrived and she immediately begun with her work on setting together the weapon. Several attempts, atleast a good dozen followed before she successfully set together the gun, she learned herself in the art of Engineering, mostly shunned by most of her kin to pick up such a raw, loud and mechanical device as opposed to the traditional bow. This perhaps caused her personality to change over the time...venturing out into the world to work as a mercenary.

Mercenary life was quite dull for Lyraella, the occasional scratches and gashes she received were merely yet another reminder to her that she was not too fit for close-combat, she instead, begun to study anatomy and honed her skills with the Engineering, becoming better and better with each creation of hers, the pay received from her merc-work was well spent.

Time and time passed, her expertise with the rifle and her skills in Engineering increased over the time she was granted upon a Quel'dorei before eventually the second war break out, some Quel'dorei dared venturing out against the Old Horde, Forest Trolls, Ogres, Orcs and even some...forced red drakes alike opposing as a foe, Lyraella, was not one of them. Some of her work was done from afar, aiding the forces against the Horde, if the pay was well, that is...

Yet, eventually, the war came to an end and Lyraella decided to actually visit her family again, quitting her work as a Merc, she travelled back towards Quel'thalas – with her rifle on the back. She met with her parents again, a happy reunion, in fact. They had not seen another for more some centuries, what kind of mother would have a grudge against their child after such a long time...

In fact, she decided to remain within Quel'thalas and halt her mercenary work for the moment being. However, she was often busy modifying her weapon or producing yet another mad creation of hers... Some tell a tale that they found a gigantic flare shooting up into the sky, of non-magical nature, it is rumoured that this deed was her, yet it remains a mistery... More war. Joy. The Scourge crushed upon Quel'thalas and Lyraella packed what she could grab, fleeing from the Scourge along with her family, hiding away from the undead beasts until the attack came to a halt. Hiding, some survived. Her mother was a frail woman, dying because she could not flee as fast as the others could, and every man and woman were for themselves. A rumour was spreading, a new source of power was find among the Quel'dorei and eventually, even Lyraella befell that fate, she consumed fel, renaming herself a Sin'dorei to honour the fallen of the defense of Quel'thalas.

Even if the death of her people was scratching at her mind, she has learned to ignore even that, if only to accomplish her task. And that was, to work as a mercenary, again. It was routine, again. Occasional defendings of caravans, some intimidations and some other mercenary work awaited her. She also started her rifle from a scratch, disposing of her old one to make herself a master-piece, one which would be capable of defeating most foes.

Time and time. She remained a mercenary and eventually overcome the death of her mother, her father settled himself down in Silvermoon in a small apartment whereas she continued her work as a mercenary. She heard the news of the Dark Portal opening again but yet, she remained to perform her work as a mercenary for that time, she heard that the Sunwell was cleansed by the forces of the Shattered Sun. As the campaign against Lich King was started, she quit her work as a merc and packed her things and savings, heading for the Blasted Lands in order to roam the planet of Draenor, fascinating things she had seen on that journey, some have left her in awe, such as the engineering of the Draenei and the lands of Nagrand, the seemingly endless planes of Nagrand and the beautiful and curious sky of the Outlands. Danger and beauty united, indeed. Even as the campaign against the Lich King ended, she remained in the Outlands to find out more about the Draenic engineering, if merely by observing them...
