Appearance

Lynn tends to wear clothing depending on the environment she believes she will soon be in. The woman tries her best to wear camouflage for wherever she might be, often also wearing leather armor. Because of her tendency to wear large and baggy clothing, it is sometimes hard to even tell what her gender might be. On the off chance she has to wear something other than armor, she will try her best to never wear anything fancy. Dresses, and expensive clothing, are a no go for her.

Personality

Growing up amongst her much more outspoken siblings, Lynn tends to be just as outspoken as the rest of them. She is often the life of a conversation, and tries to keep everyone nearby involved. She tends to be very upbeet, and is almost constantly in a good mood. Only in combat, or if she is hunting, does she get more serious.

Having lived most of her life as a hunter, Lynn has developed patience, something her siblings tend to lack. She will never rush things unless she absolutely needs to. Or, if she really, really wants to rush things along.

Lynn has a very strong respect for anything she hunts. It is because of this respect, that she tries to understand her opponents. Why they do what they do? What they're going to do next? She never assumes an enemy might do something unless she is absolutely certain that they will do such.

She tends to open up to friends and relatives a bit more, talking to them in a more friendly manner. She will attempt to throw her own two cents into a conversation a friend might be having. Because of the few friends she has, or makes, she is defensive over them. Some might say she's even afraid to lose her friends.

History

Lynn was born as the second child of the large Selgore family. They lived in the peaceful little settlement of Goldshire, making most of their income through a bakery they owned. The father of the family, Vorthus, was almost always away due to his participation in the first, second, and third wars. So it was up to the mother, Ries, to raise the family.

Unfortunately, due to the sheer size of the family, the bakery was almost never enough to keep everyone satisfied. It was because of this that most of the children would end up getting jobs elsewhere to better support themselves and their family. So it was only natural that when Lynn reached the wonderful age of sixteen, that she went out to find what would be her profession in life.

Fortunately for Lynn, she didn't have to look very far to find someone who would give her a job. One of her father's friends from the wars, Cedar, happened to be in Goldshire at the time. He was a scout during the first war, but during his tour of duty he managed to badly injure his leg. It forced him to retire early, much to his dismay. However, his profession before joining the military was that of a huntsman. And though he could no longer truly pursue this profession, he still knew enough to train Lynn. The only price was that some of the food she obtained while hunting would go to him.

Cedar taught Lynn of patience. How to wait silently for long periods of time for one specific event to happen. How to hide yourself amongst the trees. How to disguise your scent. How to kill with only one shot. And how to properly take what you need from your kill. All of these things, he said, were necessary to be a good hunter.

Lynn was a rather good learner, and Cedar considered himself 'unable to teach her anything else' when she was eighteen. He left to return to the city of Stormwind at this point, and occasionally visited the Selgore family when Vorthus was home, but little more.

As the war against the Lich King began, Lynn found herself interested in the idea of joining the military. Her father and older brother, Vorthus and Regis, were already members of the army. Having looked up to her father her entire life, Lynn decided it was right to follow in his footsteps. She fully intends on leaving for the North, once she has prepared herself for the harsh land that is Northrend.
