History

Lynn was born the first child of Aendis and Celis Dawnwing both of which were happy to produce a healthy baby girl. Lynn's life was much like any other elven child, and perhaps a little better since she was born into middle class society. Her father was an adept medical professional, and was the main 'bread winner' for the family. His profession kept his family fed, and sheltered while he provided his services to his people. Their lives were quite happy for the most part, and usually went without much incident in her early years. Not long from the day Lynn leaned how to talk, and read she immediately dove her nose into book after book. Her father took the most notice to this, and at the age of ten introduced his curious daughter to his library.

Lynn began to read from her fathers library, taking in as much knowledge as she could at her early age. By her sixteenth birthday Lynn's sister Telia was born, and Lynn had become her fathers favorite which her mother despised. Celis had other plans for Lynn, and soon convinced her husband to send Lynn to etiquette classes. Behind his back Celis began to start an attempt at controlling Lynn, and at the time she was too naive to understand what was happening. Celis forced extreme diets on Lynn, and would punish her if she slipped from her limits. Celis's control stretched all over Lynn's life from how she dressed, to how she talked, table manners, and even how long she slept at night. Celis held this control as much as possible, and with Lynn being young she accepted it as normal.

Soon after her seventeenth birthday Lynn began to have dreams of becoming a doctor. She started to take a much more serious approach when she was able spend time in her fathers library. Once Celis caught wind of this she knew she had to stamp Lynn's fire out, and began to punish Lynn for reading nearly anything. She tried explaining things to her father, but with his profession he lacked the time to see or understand what was happening. This worried Lynn, because while her father was busy this meant Celis had free reign to do as she pleased with Lynn.

Upon her eighteenth Birthday her mother would once again give birth, this time to a brother. Lynn used this opportunity to break away from her mothers control. She took some money she saved, and moved out of her parents house, and began to work in her fathers clinic. She lived quite well starting out as a apprentice nurse, and as the years rolled by she learned each job in the clinic as she was promoted up. After she became her fathers direct assistant she was able to live quite will, and saved money as much as she could. Now that she was on her own, and free she soon was found to have an affinity for magic. Her expansive mind, and thirst for knowledge gave her the skills needed to become a mage. Having been found by a Magister while doing some reading in one of Silvermoon's library's. She was taken to start her training on her days off, and free time. Balancing her work, and studies was quite hard, but for the majority of her life she lived like this. She found learning, and working in a job she loved was everything she needed to keep her happy. This wouldn't change for over half a millennium until the wars started.

The first war passed before it caught Lynn's ears, but the formation of the alliance gave Lynn new work. With a little more travel Lynn found herself speaking with doctors of different races, and she was happy to share her knowledge with them. For years she traded information, and got along with other doctors. Then the second war hit Lynn as well as an entire brigade of doctors and healers of different races teamed together to do their part. This was her first war, but her experience backed her up quite well. She was able to keep up, and managed to catch the respect of many due to her ability to take control of a situation, and produce results. With the second war ended Lynn was given a job in Dalaran to which she happily moved, and kept ties with the doctors she had once worked aside.

With her new job Lynn continued to work as a doctor, and with her new home she lived quite happily. The new orcs weren't the same ones she saw, and with their rise her efforts weren't called upon. However the bad times weren't over, and after a few years of peace she found herself back onto the battlefield. Dalaran itself wasn't enough to stop Arthas, and his legion as much as they tried the city ultimately fell. Lynn found herself fleeing with the rest of the inhabitants, and found that even her homeland had been ravaged to nothing. Lynn tried to help as much as she could, but there was nothing she could do. Once the war was over she visited her old home first, and found that there was little left. Both of her parents were dead, and the only living relatives she knew of was her brother, and sister.

Lynn traveled back to Dalaran, and found that the Kirin Tor were not going to give up on Dalaran. She decided to stay, and began helping to rebuild as well as she could. It wasn't until she herd that her people were gathering again, and she left briefly to see it if was true or not. Once she granted her leave she left the safety of the protective shield over Dalaran, and journeyed to Quel'thalas. Once there she found a new branch, the Sin'dorei, which promised to rebuild the kingdom of the elves. Lynn reluctantly joined, and tried to their their views to a degree. It was once she was shown how to intake fel energy that she started to doubt the Sin'dorei's system. She given her weakness took in fel energy once, which changed her eyes from blue to green. While the surge of energy was great, she craved for it more than any other energy.

After this experience she quickly cut herself from the energy, and tried to return to Dalaran. Once there she found herself denied due to her green eyes, and the fact that they could sense the fel taint on her. She walked away, and traveled for some time until she found Booty Bay which didn't have a proper doctor. Her knowledge, and prior experience made her the best candidate. She quickly took up residence, and found that the bay was quite a money fetcher. With everything from pirates, to rebels, and just general drunks there were many way for someone to become injured. This meant Lynn's bank account was one of the fastest growing in the bay, and she was able to afford her living without too much trouble. With her new siphoning ability she was able to afford to sedate her cravings with mana shards, and crystals.

As she lived in the bay she then herd a rumor Dalaran was rebuilt, and now hovered over Crystalsong Forest. While she was happy that the city was once again alive, she was worried that returning there wasn't going to be permitted to her. As she tried to visit she found herself welcomed once again due to the high elves that resided there, and their gratitude for the Sin'dorei's permission for them to access the Sunwell. Lynn began to return for supplies, and traveled between there and the bay when necessary. Upon one of her visits she would find herself with the option to live in Dalaran once again. While she felt off about the idea, but Lynn knew she could travel back, and forth with ease. She gladly accepted to live in Dalaran, and now travels to the bay to work.
