History

Luthar was born into a career military family of Stromgarde some 45 years ago. His father did the best he could to instill national pride and honor into his son, along with the mentality that the warriors of Stromgarde were the best in the world. As soon as Luthar was old enough to hold a sword his father began training him relentlessly, as a result much of his childhood was filled with studying military history, common, tactics, discipline, and sciences. This continued up until the time of the Second War, at which point Luthar enlisted into the ranks of the Stromgarde militia and was sent south to Khaz Modan. While there he made friends with members of the dwarven mortar squads, and soon began to learn more about practical explosives while not on the front lines. The Second War ended and with it Luthar's tour of duty. He packed up what few possessions he had, withdrew all his money, and set out for Ironforge to pursue his quest for more knowledge.

After renting a small place in the Military quarter Luthar got a job as an entry level mechanic repairing dwarven siege engines. He was taught exactly how the machines worked while on the job, and for quite a while he was content. In the time between the Second and Third war Luthar's skills with explosives, chemistry, and engineering had increased significantly, but was left out of the action. After hearing that Stromgarde had been overrun in the war he was devastated, but continued with his job and studies. In the most recent conflict in Northrend Luthar traveled with dwarves part of the Alliance expedition where he spent some time as a sapper, wreaking havoc with explosives on the battlefield.
