History

Lohel was born the son of Strom Stonehorn, Chieftain of the Stonehorn Tribe, his mother was his leading spiritual advisor. While his father honed his fighting skills to greatness, his mother instilled a strong sense of spiritual importance. Because of her, he respects his people and culture above all.

The Stonehorn Tribe has always preferred to stay true to their peoples nomadic nature. They often settled far away from the more long standing Tauren settlements. (Bloodhoof Village, Thunderbluff, etc.) They did as their ancestors did, migrating across the Barrens, following the vast herds of Kodo that populated the region.Lohel shares the same ideals he loves the solitude and time to reflect provided on long hunts.

His tribe consisted of some of the more respected and talented warriors of his people, as such his father took particular pride testing himself and his war party against the vicious Centaur that populated the Barrens. This of course lead to increased level of Centaur aggression.

One night a small group of Centaur raided the Stonehorn tribe in the night, killing a small amount of tribe members and stealing alot of supplies. Leonel's mother was among the few killed. This sent him and his father into a rage. They quickly gathered up their tribe and moved to completely eliminate the clan of Centaur responsible.

The fight started well, Lohel and his father easily crushing enemy warriors. Despite the initial success it became increasingly apparent that they were out numbered. The bloody fight lasted for hours, slowly, one by one his tribe fell to the endless waves of Centaur.

Only the best of the tribe remained later in the battle. Taking down several Centaurs individually but it was not enough. Pinned back to back Lohel and his Father were the only ones left of the war party. Lohel felt his father drop to the ground, whirling around and ending the Centaur that dared strike out at his Father. Blinded by hate and rage he fought and fought until his arms grew weak and his armor, heavy. He felt a sharp pain in his back, an arrow had ripped into his back, then another, and another... Lohel fell, presumed dead the Centaur gathered up their wounded and left. They seemed to be in quite a hurry.

There he laid, for several hours, his body nearly shutting down from blood loss. He eventually gathered his strength. He went to his father, dead. They were all dead. He had to bring word back to his tribe's camp. He got within a mile of it and could see the pillar of smoke from there.Every single member of the tribe was dead or taken away by the Centaur for torture. His family destroyed.

He blacked out, the wounds having more effect then he expected. He awoke days later, being cared for by Tauren Spiritualists in Thunderbluff. He was watched carefully for days, and in those days he reflected. His hate for the Centaur grew. Still clinging to his mother's ways of tolerance, struggling to understand why the Goddess had allowed this to happen.

When he recovered he vowed that if he were to ever see a Centaur it would be killed on sight. Aside from that he still does his best to maintain the ideals of both of his parents. He tries to redeem his tribe, recruit others into it, and become the leader his father was.
