Appearance
Anything durable and comfortable. Wearing plate armors mainly, trying to be battle ready. Usual colors are blue, dark blue, greenish.
Her hair is very long, it ends well below her waist. As a Night Elf and a warrior she is a master of survival in wilderness. She's also a mediocre musician; Lindariel plays a wooden flute that she made during her spare time. She's mediocre because she doesn't know many tunes/melodies.
Personality
Often given the misconception of being a ruthless guardian Lindariel is really the friendly and emotional type inside, she grows fond of new acquaintances quite fast. Though she highly distrusts Humans, Dwarves and Gnomes and during the war she developed a hate for the whole Horde, even though the Orcs helped at Hyjal, she hasn't forgiven them for the forests of Ashenvale and the death of Cenarius. Her trust is hard to earn by someone different than a Night Elf. She doesn't hate the Alliance races, nor does she try to teach them the ways of nature. Lindariel always stands by her sword ready to protect her friends and her beliefs. She is a strong and capable Night Elf warrior. Unfortunately her obsession with being the strong leading type often leads to hysterical outbreaks if it's challenged. She wants to be the first to attack, first to take the hit, first to kill a demon and so on…
History
Being the fighter type since childhood Lindariel has grown into a capable warrior. She's so fixed on protecting nature, the tranquility of the forests and her friends that her little hysterical outbreaks earned her the name of a ruthless guardian. She hasn't seen many battles apart from training, but she got a chance to show her real colors at the battle of mount Hyjal.
During the battle at Hyjal she was among the many other Night Elves fighting off the Burning Legion and buying time for Malfurion to set up a defense against the vile Archimonde. She fought with great strength and spirit. The Burning Legion fell at her blades and the blades of the brave Night Elves. Unfortunately her fight didn't last long. During a big wave she was injured in battle by one of the accursed demons. Luckily the other Night Elves were able to fight it off and carry Lindariel out of the field. Her wound was rather severe and it took quite some time for it to heal, thusly she never saw the end of the battle of Hyjal with her own eyes. She regrets the failure.
Little afterward her wounds healed Lindariel was back to training and protecting her home in the sacred forests of Kalimdor.
These days Lindariel does a little bit of traveling to see the world and meet new Night Elves. She's quite curious, yet shy to other races. Her travels usually don't last too long; she visits something and quickly heads back to the closest Night Elf city, but her real love stays in the forests of Ashenvale where she finds the real tranquility, of course until she reaches the Orc lumber camps. Her hate for the Horde and Orcs grows.
Stormwind travels
During her recent travels, mostly to Stormwind and other Human cities Lindariel has been playing her flute a lot. It keeps her at peace and reminds her of home, especially during hard times or when she feels uncomfortable. The flute's melody brings harmony to Lindariel's mind and when she plays it... she's in her own little Night Elf world.
The melodies have brought attention to Lindariel, but surprisingly she likes it... She likes to share the harmony and peace of her melodies, even though not everyone likes the sort of melodies she plays. That's not a bother to her, she will always respond with a friendly smile.
