Alignment: Neutral Good.

He's not as happy go lucky as other gnomes for seeing the face of war firsthand many times, but while stern and serious, he's calm, gentle, happy and bright. He tends to be an optimist.

History

Leonard was raised as an average gnome. He showed great potential to engineering, to his parent's delight, but didn't show interest on the art, not training it at all. Instead his hobby was sneaking out to hunt critters, and fight animals. He soon realized his frail and weak constitution put him in serious danger as bigger and stronger animals could easly overpower him. Instead of laying traps, he trained his body, honing his abilties and becoming stronger, faster. As a child, he met a girl who'd become his best friend. Her name was Kimee. They got along well together, and their friendship grew quickly.

Soon he'd be fighting other warrior wannabes. He wasn't a particularly great warrior. He trained and trained, focusing on his speed and strenght as he fought and grew.

Soon, Kimee would depart to study in Dalaran, and Leonard join the army of the gnomes, where he'd train more and more. One day the gnomes wanted to send an emissary to Dalaran, and Leonard knowing Kimee was there, accepted hurriedly. The gnomes were iffy at sending him there, but as he was a soldier of low patent and no importance to the army at a time, and definetly looking forward to going, they accepted.

The gnomes met each other again and while Leonard was in Dalaran, and fell in love. Before Leonard had to depart, he took a chance by proposing to Kimee, and she accepted. They married, and the army allowed him to stay in Dalaran.

By then, Kimee had an interest in runes and their effects on the living's body, which she'd show to Leonard. He got interested in runes as well, but in a different manner. The days went by, and soon he learned they were expecting a child. They'd have a son.

Leonard was overjoyed. He would be a father! He worked hard to make sure the money would get in. Soon their child was upon them, and his life couldn't be better. They had enough money to live and little difficulties. Every weekend he'd take Kimee out so they could have time alone. His soon had inherited the father's prowess in engineering and the mother's abilities with Arcane. Leonard thought that nothing could possibly ruin that happiness.

Then everything went downhill. The second war happened, and Leonard was called back. He had to fight. The skills he honed daily, even in Dalaran, paid off. The gnome showed great military process, being offered the position of a General at the end of the war. When the war was over he returned to Dalaran, to find out his son was dead, his grave was desecrated, and his wife... Was gone.

Leonard was heartbroken. What could have possibly happened? On that day he abandoned his position as an emissary and refused the position of general, giving up of all pride and prestige the positions gave him. He grabbed only his swords and his armor, and set to the world.

If asked, Leonard says he travels the world to hone his skills. In truth, he's desperately searching for his wife... So he may hold the woman he loves once more...
