But that's not to be confused for naivety, foolishness or a strict sense of pacifism. Far from it. And any who would purposely seek harm upon him or those he cares for often awaken to find several of their teeth missing and scattered about, if they even wake at all.

History: The Tauren race were still nomadic at the time of Kutamu's birth so, naturally, he was born on the plains of the Barrens. Since the time he could walk, he was to be found wrestling with his father. To him, as a child, this was mere play, but there was more than fun meant in this practice. His upbringing was designed specifically to mold him into a proud Tauren warrior, and in that it succeeded. And although he grew to become strong and experienced in front line combat, he, like all Tauren, was taught to control his aggression and display it only in battle, and even then only to engage in battle if all other options have failed.

But as he came nearer to his coming of age, he began to question his training and see fault in the reliance of weaponry and armor, for weapons could be disarmed and armor shattered, and so he saw fit to develop skills in methods where both instances would be impossible. He began to train in the arts of hand-to-hand combat. Under the guidance of one such veteran combatant, Kutamu became fairly skilled in hand-to-hand combat along with axes, thick leather armors and even rifles for those times the enemy could maintain an admirable assault from afar and it'd be impossible to reach them. Over the years there were patterns etched into his flesh, becoming more and more intricate until they came to cover the majority of his chest, back and shoulders. It was for his proficiency and preference for this style of combat that he came to be known as Thunderhoof, after the finishing move he'd often employ against his downed enemies: a heavy, downward smash through their skulls.

His ceremony finished and having been acknowledged as an adult by his tribal elders, Kutamu would later come to fight for the new Horde in the Third War, and later still in Northrend against the Scourge. Longing to see the plains of Mulgore again and his task in Northrend completed, he returned home to the Tribes where he now resides, seeking to return to his people's peaceful and spiritual way of life.
