Personality

Kiegen is a very nice little man, always looking to do good deeds to get people to like him, as his number one fear in life, is death and pain. Kiegen is a very curious man, he has been curious all his life, and like most Gnomes, because of this curiosity, became an avid Engineer. Rather than fight out of his troubles, Kiegen will use his natural talent of hiding away from enemies when on the run! If Kiegen is being chased with no chance of hiding, he will likely throw something at them, to throw them off, hoping for a miracle and will stop being chased. Seldomly, if being persued, he will use an actual bomb to get them off his tail, but tries his best not to hurt people, knowing this will probably just make them even more angry, which is the LAST thing Kiegen wants. Being a paranoid man by nature, he is very picky about things he will do to help people, trying to make alternative ideas to a situation that will put him in danger, unfortunantly for Kiegen, he caves in to peer pressure rather easily. Although Kiegen is a coward most would call him, he is very sneaky, and because of his size, can be very helpful in situations such as spying, or infiltration, he also uses technology to aid him in these tasks, such as a Gnomish World Enlarger, to make him small and almost unoticable.

History

Kiegen is an almost middle aged Gnome of 85, born and raised in the Clockwork city of Gnomeregan, his interest was caught at a very early age by technology and it's mysteries. Growing up Kiegen was picked on by his peers, as he was naturally not very brave, he was, and still is, an easy target to frighten. Through all this bullying Kiegen learned how to sneak around and hide rather well, for his own health. What kept Kiegen at peace however was learning the power of technology, at young age he would often watch his parents work on their inventions, asking countless questions, tinkering with things he shouldn't he learned much as he grew, and as he learned, his facination for it all grew as well.

Kiegen was comming of age and decided to take the path of an avid engineer, a family tradition. Through the years he learned much through trial and error, studies, and conversing with fellow engineers. Although Kiegen never really outgrew his cowardess, his self confidence grew he was able to stand up for himself somewhat as he aged. Kiegen would often take walks to think when his projects failed, to try and firgure out what he did wrong and how he could fix it. All in all, engineering was his passion, and his life.

The days came when the Trogg invasions started, Kiegen being a coward, was horrified of this and built machines to protect him, knowing he must stay in Gnomeregan to try and help defend his only home. He with other engineers ran the streets and walkways of Gnomeregan, trying to kill Troggs and defend the city, when it became to much, Kiegen, with a heavy heart evacuated to Ironforge with other Exiles for sanctuary.

Since then Kiegen has helped his allies of the Alliance by building machines to make life easier little by little, Kiegen seldomly helps build machines of war, being frightened of the very thought of combat, he does not want to aid in building killing machines, he finds peace in making his little inventions and machines to help people, rather than hurt.

Now Kiegen, at the adult, but still young age of 85, seeks to help people, and has taken the path of a trader, and hirable Engineer to make some extra money along the way.
