Personality

Somewhat cautious, and equally grumpy. He's abrasive and rude in conversation, but can usually tell when it would be prudent for him to keep quiet. Even so, he has a rather empathetic nature-- To him, his work as a medic is the highest of callings. He cannot stand to see open wounds and painful injuries go without treatment, regardless of pay. He is extremely paranoid when it comes to undead, as he's seen the worst of what they could do to a body.

History

Born into a military family, Kedhran ended up serving with the Ironforge military during both the second and third wars. Physically unimposing and a rather poor shot with bow or rifle, his family's military clout put him on triage duty during the second war. Though none too thrilled with the idea of serving at all, his attitude changed when the wounded and dying began showing up in their tents. Most of his techniques were learned on-the-job, as desperate orders shouted from his superiors, but he learned them quick and he learned them well.

Kedhran left the force with a dramatically different perspective, having seen the men and women he and his family had looked up to for generations at their weakest moments, on the brink of death. He began studying medicine openly, learning to treat wounds and cast minor healing spells as well as create bandages and brew antivenom. When the third war came, he signed up for the same position, ill prepared for the horrid effects of the curse of undeath and carrying with him a particular fear and hatred of anything that once died yet continues to move.

For a time, he retired from treating combat wounds, running a small clinic in Kharanos. He treated only minor civilian injuries during this time, occasionally traveling to Stormwind to purchase supplies. It was on one such trip he met a strange Night Elf. The man was a death knight, warning him of the undead and the war that would soon come to their own doorstep. Kedhran knew all too well what horrors he spoke of, noticeably chilled when he left to return to his work. He briefly considered reenlisting in the Ironforge military, but had come to appreciate the freedom of working privately. The Lodestone Company was an opportunity for him; he had found that treating warriors was a fulfilling experience, and the fewer restrictions made it all the better. The pay didn't hurt, either.
