History

Born on the Darkspear Isles like most trolls of the Darkspear clan, Kaz was born to a well off family. His father, Tore'mig, was a great hunter of the tribe and had (at the time of Kaz's birth) four wives. A great sign of wealth and integrity among trolls. Kaz's own mother was the fourth, and thus lowliest of the wives. When it came time for Kaz's trial to become a man, he was set against one of the elder members of the tribe as to give him a swift and honorable death. Using dual daggers, he fought against the old man, and ended up the victor. But, it was a sorrowful day, his right of passage, as Tore'mig's first wife, Mith (No pre or suffix as she was a woman) was the old man's daughter. She knew that it was the way of the tribe, but she held a distain for Kaz from that day onward, and manipulated his father to garner the same thoughts of near-hatred.

Kaz split further from his family, as he decided on the path of the warrior, instead of a hunter as his father had chosen. Tore'mig hardly spoke to his son from then on, except for family and tribe gatherings, all though his mother would visit him at his new hut often.

As the murlocs began their attacks, backed by the Naga ‘Sea Witch,' Kaz was sent to the front lines. He was lucky enough to live through all of his battles, with minor injuries, but they were losing the fight... That is, until Thrall came. Under the leadership of the now-War Chief, the trolls succeeded but not before their Island succumbed to the sea...

And so, the tribe sailed into the unknown, and toward the land of Kalimdor. As the trolls mixed with the Orcish race, customs began to spill over, and the women of society began to get rights. Most denied this fact, and kept to the old ways, but others demanded to be taught the way of the witch doctor, the shaman, and the warrior. One of these ‘New-Wave' women, was none-other than Mith, Tore'mig's first wife. Attempting for revenge soon after landing, Mith challenged Kaz to a fight to the death, secretly trying to avenge her father for a wrong never truly done. Kaz of course, having trained for over three times as long as she, was crowned the victor of the match. But, to his dismay, and even more so that of his father, he inflicted wound too deep and too many for even a troll to heal from. Tore'mig challenged him, but knowing that either he, or his father would end up dying, declined the offer.

For dishonoring him, his family, and killing his favored wife, Tore disowned his son Kaz. As such, he left the isles and began training in the wilderness, traveling in every direction to obtain the best knowledge in fighting as to one day, possibly, garner his father's love once more.

That time is coming however, and now that he has trained for his whole life abroad, Kaz has returned to Horde lands, and joined the Honorguard to try and obtain the highest position he can, and show his father what he has done, and who he is.

As time has gone on, friends gained, other lost, Kaz had begun to lose who he was, struggling without a true purpose. A reason to live. He sought out the knowledge of the shaman, with the aid of a close friend, and has been training with her as his mentor. The troll pushed the extent of his mind and body to try to create a bond with the elements. This bond has given him an outlet for his spiritual necessities, but still didn't fulfill his greater purpose. It didn't give him a true goal in life. With nothing to lose, the Shaman furthered the Gladiator training he had received in Stranglethorn, becoming a true Gladiator.
