Personality

Karast is not a great conversationalist, finding herself using smaller and less complicated words to express her point or idea across. She has enough confidence in herself to stand on her two feet when either teased, accused or just simply talking, and is more then happy to start a conversation if it suits her.

While she appears to shut out the world with her busy schedule, she will greet anyone who wanders up to her. Karast is tough and persistent, setting her mind to any goal that she wants, and will not let hard times stop her from getting what she wants.

If you're friends with Karast, expect open-ness and plenty of belly laughs as she treasures friendships; but if your a stranger, expect to be greeted with cautious icy blue eyes and short conversations. While she boasts plenty of confidence, Karast prefers not to show emotions, or even allow herself to cry in front of others, as she thinks it makes her appear weak and frail. She's determined to prove that she's as tough as males are!

History

Karast was born on one of the planets somewhat close to Draenor during their escape from the Burning Legion. Whilst on Oshu'gun, her mother and father raised her with the values and beliefs of the Naruu and the way of the light. It was difficult to properly portray the sgnificance of the light while constantly fleeing from the Burning Legion. Though as she matured in age, the light slowly became a distant belief, and she slowly began to question the teachings of the light whenever she could. Because of this, her mother and father slowly shfited away from her, as did the majority of her kin

While she was kept safe from the massacre of her kin on Draenor, her mother and father taking her to Zangamarsh with Velan, she pulled her weight at her home hidden from the Burning Legion and assisted where ever she could. She jumped at the chance to do the work that was considered male work, and loved to prove she was just as tough as any other Draenei male.

Eventually, she took up the fine skill of Blacksmithing, and was taught by their best after much persistence and determination. Karast would be seen producing weapons and armour even in the comfort of her own home. When the Draenei fled Draenor on the Exodar, Karast was involved in an accident that scarred the left side of her body, and it was this accident that led her trainer to let her go as his apprentice. He did not want the reputation of someone who got hurt under his teachings. For months, Karast would spend hours in solitude contemplating what to do with her life, and spent the rest of her evenings at the Exodar tavern causing havoc.

Eventually, she was given an ultimatum. Because there were so few Draenei left, she had to contribute to Exodar, or be exiled. Having no choice, Karast looked for work. No one would allow her to resume her apprenticeship as a blacksmith, so she turned to class trainers. First she tried to be a warrior. Next a mage, though she was fortunate to have only cast a single fire bolt before being let off by her trainer, and then finally a shaman. None worked out for her.

Soon, she found herself with no choice but to leave Exodar, but as she packed her bags and left for the gate, a master Paladin pulled her aside. He offered her one last chance to contribute to her kin, and to pick up her old beliefs to become a paladin. At first, Karast refused, but returned to him after a few days to accept his offer. The first few weeks of her training did not go well, Karast and him had consistent arguments, but it would seem even the man's persistence paid off, and soon she was learning the ways of the light once more. Now, she has set out on errands outside of the Exodar. Where will her adventures lead her?

Events that have happened IC: Karast traveled to Ratchet, where she met a man by the name of Demitrius. After some conversation, she mentioned she would like to pick up her blacksmith trade once more, but was unsure how. He pointed her to a gnome called Kirabo. He was an engineer who was looking for an assistant. It seemed like a good start, however she would have to give up Exodar in order to travel with Kirabo on his adventures. It took several days for her to return and accept his offer. To Exodar, she is lost, never to have reported in from her last mission.

During her adventures in Ratchet, she met a man of her own kin. Ventus. He mentioned he was an anchorite, and would be willing to continue Karast's teachings as a paladin. So, with her blacksmithing trade underway, and her training continued, she lives a new life.

At the celebratings of the Lich King's fall in Dalaran, Karast met a Paladin of her own kin by the name of Gwen who was willing to teach her to become a paladin. Outfitting Karast with new armour, she set out to teach Karast the ways of the light.

Outside the gates of Booty Bay, Karast engaged in a courageous defence against several Blood Elves who were attempting to either murder or enslave a fellow Draenei. The battle was fierce and almost desperate for Karast, but finally emerged victorious. The battle won't be easily forgotten, as it has left her with a deep scar just above her left ankle.

Karast would travel to Dalaran and stay there for quite some time before a tiny human woman by the name of Tabby approached her and offered to pay her as a bodyguard. Karast agree's and begins to travel with Tabby.

She would soon be taken prisoner and thrown into a dungeon at an unkown location, along with many other people of different race and culture. Eventually, she would escape with everyone and go her separate way, reaching Booty Bay.

There, she would bump into Demitrius once more, who seemed to be insulting a large group of people. They would depart Booty Bay, with Karast eventually following ten minutes behind. When she reached them, she found Demitrius beaten up on the floor and surrounded by the thugs he was threatening earlier. She jumped in quickly to save his life, buying enough for someone to drag Demitrius back to the safey of Booty Bay. While the feat was heroic, Karast lost her life to save Demitrius.

She would be revived by Tabby, and the two would separate as Karast left to find her purpose in life once more. Being dead is the end of a purpose, being revived. What do you do? Continue with the previous purpose or find a new one? Karast's latest adventures would answer that for her in due time.
