• Experienced Flying Mount Rider- He has flown his wind rider long distances, in and out of combat, making many rather difficult maneuvers relatively easy when he's in the saddle.
• Dual Blade Specialist- Skilled in the use of a long sword and a dagger, he uses a style of his own making that isn't overly rouge-like in nature, although he is just as likely to use dirty tricks as the next guy, if not more so.

Usual Garments/Armor: Worn leather armor with a cowl, often with a mask that covers his lower facial features. A large belt that holds various pouches, satchels and such.

Other: Usually carried three throwing knives on each leg, with additional ones hidden in his sleeves, especially when it is 'uncouth' of him to have weaponry out in the open.

Personality

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral.

A natural introvert, Kai is both brutal and soft at the same time, understanding others emotions and reasoning's and simultaneously caring very little for them. Driven by intense feelings of wanderlust, greed, lasciviousness, for both men and women (only the pretty boys though) and perhaps a little surprisingly, a desire for strength, he can be both a savior and a condemner, although more often than not he does things out of self gain, he can still on occasion surprise someone by doing something genuinely kind, only to do something that would horrify most in the next minute, simply because he found the act interesting.

He is often seen doing incredibly nonsensical things for the smallest of reasons, sometimes leading others to question his sanity. Whilst Kai may indeed have a bolt or two loose in his head, his thoughts are not entirely pointless or without meaning, when he decides to do something it is often for his own sake, as he calculating the risks, repercussions and how he is going to get it done, and then doing them regardless of whatever happens afterwards, perhaps simply for the sake of seeing what could happen or because it had some hidden meaning to him, or someone else. Sometimes, though, he just does things to piss people off.

History

A rogue by trade, Kai was born to high elf parents who by the name of Aerberon and Laedori Winterstrider, whom both passed away during the third war, when the scourge attacked. Kai had been saved by the few others who escaped, of which there were obviously few. Growing up, Kai naturally took to stealing what he desired, as in his most likely false opinion, he wasn't always fed well enough by those who raised him in place of his parents, he was often left unpunished despite his careless acts, as those who raised him believed that he was simply striking out due to the loss of his parents, something that he seemingly had difficulty grasping, and did not come to terms with many years later when the pain had lessened. Despite being let off the hook quite often, Kai found himself in large amounts of trouble all the time due to his inquisitive nature, usually getting told off by those who weren't raising him, if they found him skulking around their kitchen or peaking into the girl's washroom, or sometimes, lifting an expensive-looking necklace out of someones drawer at the wrong time.

The years passed and Kai grew older, eventually leaving his people, whom probably didn't miss him overly much, behind and striking out on his own, hiring himself out as a mercenary before he even reached adulthood. The next few years of his life were spent exploring, plundering and indiscriminately killing across multiple different landscapes and cities, although he often found himself chasing his foes into forests, which he didn't mind himself, being a fan of nature himself.

Kai was, and still is often seen atop his wind rider, Kiral, a beast that he 'befriended' within the depths of a pirate ship once he was taken captive. Kiral was placed in the cell next to Kai in an effort to scare the blood elf, due to the beasts rampant agression which was a symptom of being stuck in a place where it could not stretch it's wings, which was only made worse by the mistreatment it recieved from the pirates which it so feared after being whipped one too many times. Despite this, Kai would often share whatever food he recieved with the wind rider, and over the weeks that he spent in the cell, he slowly formed a bond with the beast despite being on opposite side of the bars, although had the bars never been there, the wind rider would have likely killed Kai when it had first been placed in the next cell.

With the wind rider no longer growling at him at every opportunity, Kai started eating his food more, gathering strength as he prepared for his escape, until one day a pair of guards opened his cell door and pulled him out of his cell to throw him into the cell with the wind rider, with a bucket of water and a sponge, giving him instructions to clean the beast, fully expecting him to get eaten alive by the (as far as they knew) agressive wind rider. They were quite suprised when the wind rider simply licked Kai's face, and the blood elf calmly cleaned the wind rider off, even gave himself a little wipe down before asking to be let out, when the dumbfounded guards did begin moving Kai back to his cell, the blood elf struck them both down by disabling them and removing their weapons, then killing them just to make sure.

Now freed from the cell, Kai quickly dressed himself in his captives armor before leaving the cells, and the wind rider behind for a time as he scouted out his surroundings, and after sneaking by all the guards and reaching the surface, Kai noticed that it was dusk and that it was soon to be dark. Now having mesmorised an escape route, Kai went back to the wind rider and slowly coaxed him out of his cell, before leading him out from under the deck and up to the top, where he was rather suddenly confronted with the ships entire crew, in the seconds that followed, Kai launched himself up onto the wind rider, and it flew off without him having to do anything, perhaps having planned to leave regardless of whether or not the elf was on top of it. After flying for a time, the wind rider succumbed to it's exhaustion, having not flown in a long time and being rather malnourished, and the pair crash landed on a secluded island.

Over the next few days Kai hunted the animals of the island, building he and the wind rider a little makeshift shelter for as long as they remained on the island, and for the first time in weeks, the pair ate some good food. A few days later, the two departed the island together, Kai riding atop the back of his new companion, whom he named Kiral.

Kai continued his adventures with Kiral in tow, the two never far apart, he continued on with his rather self-serving ways and few people saw their lives saved by him, and whilst not famous by any means, Kai came to be known by a few to be a man that could get the job done, and was often hired for dirtier jobs that others wouldn't accept out of fear, or more likely, disgust.

After his twentieth year, Kai separated himself from, as it were, 'the business', wishing to to see more of the world before he had to go back to some goblin town or another and kill some poor fellow who stole some bread for his sick child. And over the next year, a decidedly short time for his race, he traveled here and there atop Kiral, seeing all that he could well see in the time he had, doing his upmost to not die too prematurely.
