Personality

Recent events of her life have changed Juna's persona. The woman has grown somewhat sterner, calculistic and colder, that with being thrown into a battlefield for months and being tortured mentally by the disembodied spirit of her father. Juna is a bit more willing to go extra lenghts she wouldn't before to do what she has to do. Deep within her shell, however, the shaman remains the same kind, cheeky woman.

When she's possessed by her father, on the other hand, he's the opposite. While Juna is defensive and calculistic, her father is violent and single-minded. He is more aggressive than her, and he can be much more willing than the shaman to kill - or even escape - if it suits his needs.

History

Juna's travels would eventually lead her to a man known as Kagrune Shatterfist, then-member of the Ashrune Pact. They quickly befriended each other and became good friends, but this would be shortlived.

Sometime after that, a night elf would shoot the man from behind, murdering him with deceitful tactics. This enraged Juna, who marched to Ashenvale to confront the elf, a battle from which she remained victorious.

Shortly afterwards, Juna betrayed the spirits by soiling the ritual of Kagrune's death - Tricking the pyremaster into giving her one of his fangs. This cost her her shaman abilities.

She would, however, later contact the spirits and further incur their wrath, but manage to strike a deal. In exchange for her powers - and Kagrune - back, Juna would be an eternal servant, in life and death.

With his return, Juna and Kagrune became mates. With him, she created a Clan - Wildhunt - to help her fulfill her eternal duty to the orcish spirits.

This, however, was also shortlived. For soon afterwards, Juna would have seen a vision she had to march, alone, to stop.

In her lone journey through the Outlands, to fight against this unknown enemy, Juna's father - Specifically, his spirit - decided to assail the woman with the objective of taking over her body.

Her unnatural connection to the ancestors made this easier, allowing the man to nest himself in his daughter's mind with ease. He can, every now and then, take over her body.

After wandering for months, this took it's toll in her psyche. Juna, now a darker woman, became more of a soldier than a person, caring more about her task than herself.

Skills and Abilities

Being connected to the spirits of the ancestors and not the elements, Juna has no ability to call upon elemental magic whatsoever. Instead, she has a small set of abilities gained from communing with the deceased.

  • To see beyond sight

- Juna's connection to the spirits runs deep. Once a day, she can be warned of danger beforehand. She isn't, however, given details - She will ultimately only know that something "bad" is going to happen during that day. It's akin to a gut feeling or instinct.

  • Connection with the beyond

- By entering a trance-like state, Juna can communicate with the spirits of the deceased to ask for directions, or to find someone. The spirits will almost always request an offering, however, or may deny her outright. Cases in which they tell her what she wants with little resistance are few and far between.

  • From beyond the grave

- Juna can allow herself to be dominated by a spirit, allowing the temporary but complete control over her body. When this happens, the spirit receives complete control over her, and can do whatever they so desire until Juna either successfully exorcise them from within or their desires are satisfied. The spirits are ultimately bound to Juna's own body, however, and thus cannot do anything beyond her abilities. Channeling the spirit of a mage won't make her spells stronger, the spirit of a warrior won't make her muscles bigger, etc. Ultimately, any spirit she takes within her body is bound by her abilities, unable to do anything beyond what she can.

  • Connection of the other plane

- Instead of using the Spirits of the Wild to heal, Juna can tap into the plane of positive energy through her faith on the spirits to heal herself and others.

  • Blessed by their will

- Juna is ultimately connected to the spirits. She can bless weapons through prayer to allow them to deal magical damage. This blessing lasts until dispelled, or for a day.

  • In their steps

- Juna is a melee combatant that relies on the guidance of the spirits to know how to strike and block. With their aid, she can go toe to toe with a warrior, being guided by their whispers on how to fight them. However, if she is somewhere where her connection to the spirits is dampened, her melee abilities are severely damaged.

Juna is also a really good blacksmith.
