About Joseph

Joseph is a rather lazy Human Warrior. When he was extremely young he was abandoned and the Stormwind Orphanage took him in. He gained the nickname "Rocket" during early childhood in the orphanage - He used to run away from his carer, seeing as though he was scared of him. When he began to make friends, they gave him the nickname "Rocket".

Joseph is interested in races other than his own, and likes to get to know about their history. Just like any other fellow, Joseph always loves a pint'o beer - Port is his favourite, because it's cheap and tasty. Joseph enjoys to cook, and has done since he was a child. He is a rather advanced cook, and hopes to be able to do so in a restaurant before he dies.

Pierce told Joseph of the 'true light' of life, so to speak, and enlightened Joseph's mind. However, after not seeing Pierce for many years, Joseph thinks that he was told regarding the 'true light' of life was all just a lie.

Joseph has his own riding mount, which he uses to travel the streets of Stormwind quickly. Aswell as this, the Brown Steed gets him to places far from his home very quickly.

Joseph has taken interest in Tailoring. He finds the hobby fun, and is planning on fulfilling the profession in his spare time. Sooner or later, Joseph plans to open a shop, where he can make and sell goods, as well as make his own clothes if needed.

Recently, Joseph has been upset due to the fact that he believes that he is one of the few people in modern society who is hated by most, if all people. Although, it doesn't go to his head, he is becoming more and more suspicious about the people around him. Though, he does get on with day-to-day life, tailoring when he has the time and supplies and doing jobs for the people around him when he has the time to.

Furthermore, ever since he thought he was left behind after being lead on so much regarding the betrayal of Stromgarde, he has began to believe that he shouldn't trust many people; especially people you randomly meet off the street.

History

Young life

Joseph "Joey" Smith grew up without any parents. They dumped him on the street and deserted the area quickly. Joyfully, the Lordaeron Orphanage house took the Joseph in, gave him food, water, shelter and a clean set of clothes. As a young tyke he was nicknamed "Rocket" due to his rapid speed and how he used to run away from the carers at the orphanage.

As Joseph was growing up, he became interested in cooking in particular. At the age of nine, he began helping the Orphanage's Chef cook meals for the other children. They used to make fun of him, but it didn't really bother Joseph too much, as he didn't cook all of the time. At the age of 15, Joseph was let out of the Orphanage just like any other orphan. That day was the happiest day of his life. He ran straight out of the Lordaeron gates, into the grassy fields and made himself his own punching dummy.

When Joseph was 22, he had made up enough money to buy his own sword and shield. He set off to Stormwind, where he had heard there was a little trouble. After doing a few jobs for the local guards, Joseph had a little more money than he had expected. In the year 25, Lordaeron fell to King Arthas Menethil. It was a horrible day. Joseph countlessly wondered about the orphanage, but realised that he could have fell to the Plague of Undeath and shook off his emotions regarding the orphanage.

Introduction to the Silver Shield Confederacy

One rainy day, when Joseph was in Stormwind, he came across what he thought was a hero. He asked for ones autograph, but because he had no paper or writing equipment, he couldn't get the autograph. After about 15 minutes of small-talk, they reached an agreement - The "hero" named Pierce would train Joseph how to fight, in return for him helping Pierce and his friends try and "take back Stromgarde".

Currently

The day to "take back Stromgarde" never really came! The Silver Shield Confederacy must have left without him. Joseph was embarrassed. He was looking forward to this heroic trip, this quest, training ever so hard for it and he was just left behind. This 'major' event in his life has left him scarred.

Joseph now runs as a mercenary, protecting people for money. However, should he say "we'll get there safely and in no time if you pay me", he would actually mean "we'll get there in one piece if you pay me and you don't piss me off".
