Appearance

Johanna is almost always seen in heavy armor. When out, she usually wears formal attire. She keeps a heavy paladin's tome at her side, though it is useless to her by any combat means.

Personality

Stoic and loyal. Johanna is a gnome of her word, unless abandoning a task is truly for the greater good. While she seems decisive in her actions she is very aware of the results of her actions, often leading to great internal conflicts.

History

Johanna was brought up around the dwarves, her parents a pair of alchemists, moved off to Ironforge for want of a better customer base [Though they would later return to Gnomeregan once Johanna was of age to leave the home]. Despite her parents not being in the least bit physically minded, and her two sisters much more enamored with the abilities of the arcane, Johanna found an outlet for her youthful energy in the warriors of Ironforge, often tagging along behind stalwart veterans and soldiers on their training sessions. She eventually found herself given a toy blade and shield, and was all too happy to take lessons from some of the retired soldiers.

Not long after her reaching adulthood, the irridation of Gnomeregan occurred. Johanna was among many of the volunteers who aided in the evacuation of the city, defending the survivors from trogg and leper alike. Despite her efforts, the majority of her family was lost in the irridation, leaving only her father and one of the three sisters alive. Shocked by the destruction of her people's home, and the deaths of many close family members, Johanna decided to leave Dun Morogh via the tram, in search of ventures away from home and the memories that were kept within.

Johanna, many years after, has developed a new fascination. No longer content with being a regular soldier, Johanna watched the valiant knights of Stormwind with admiration, and was even taken under as a squire with one.

Gregory Antoninus, a valiant paladin, took the youngling under his wing for the entirety of her training. While at first varying between a measure of annoyance or simply uncaring regarding the young warrior, the pair eventually became inseparable through being forced on one another in many missions.

Though somewhat an unlikely pair, the two warriors developed a loving relationship between another, and were seen by many as a balance for one another. Gregory was hot blooded and quick to act; Meanwhile, Johanna had become much more passive and protective, and to the human paladin's embarrassment, she had ended up saving the man's life on many occasions.

Eventually, though, a life of battle took a toll on the pair. Gregory was slain in a march towards his home of Darrowshire, the duo unable to fend off the undead swarm which struck them on the way towards the village. Johanna eventually managed to carry the paladin's lifeless body back to an Argent encampment- much too late, to her dismay.

Johanna became a free roaming warrior after the demise of her partner, deciding it best if she could simply help others and move along, not involve herself directly with them. Johanna travels about the world now, seeking out others to lend her aid to.
