History

Jethro was born in Lordaeron. He was raised in a lower-middle class family with his little sister named Jolene. Jethro was raised by a stern father - one Jethro wasn’t very fond of - along with a passive, yet often caring mother. His parents were originally from Stormwind, and he would eventually travel there at the end of the Second War. In his early teens he would begin to develop a rebellious quality, one he would keep for most of his life. Jethro constantly roamed the streets of Stormwind, tossing stones into the canals and causing trouble around the Trade District. Eventually he would meet his best and predominantly only friend, Dyess Perle. The two grew up together, often pairing up with one another to steal food or simply kill time. Despite Jethro’s presense around the house and family diminishing to a small number, he was very protective and caring towards his little sister. Jethro invariably got into trouble, whether it be with his father or the law. Jethro and Dyess had known each other for a long time by now and had grown very fond of each other. They worked together and become nearly dependant on one another. Still committing petty crimes and becoming a nuisance to the city, Jethro would decide to leave Stormwind at the age of 18. Unbeknown to him, Dyess would be hiding a rather big secret from him for years to come.

Jethro would leave for the east, to Lakeshire. There he would develop his blade skills as a scout for the militia. He spent many years training, putting together a personal style for hand to hand and blade combat to emphasize the way he used his speed and stealth. By the time Jethro was in his early twenties he chose to move on again, growing tired of the daily routine he had grown accustomed to in Lakeshire. He had heard tales of fortune, fame and women in a southern land, beyond Duskwood and the Jungles of Stranglethorn Vale... Booty Bay. After using most of his savings on travel supplies and a horse, he headed south for Duskwood. Braving the dark woods seething with large spiders, worgen, undead drones, and wolves Jethro took quite some time to travel through Duskwood despite his rest and resupply in Darkshire. He would continue his travel south into the Jungle, making even slower progress in travel time. He was unprepared for the heat - both himself and his horse going through the trip dehydrated before the halfway mark on the map he’d bought prior to the trip. By the time Jethro passed the arena, he had collapsed not far from the entrance to the bay. A certain dark haired Blood Elf had seen him, and came to his assistance. When Jethro awoke, he was in one of the Salty Sailor’s rooms, all his gear accounted for on the floor, and a glass of water on the table. Not long after Jethro came to, the elf returned, introducing himself as Odran. Jethro was grateful, but quick to leave. He offered the elf compensation for helping, and gathered his things.

Jethro would quickly hit the boardwalks, scanning for work opportunities.

For months, Jethro worked on the docks: loading and unloading crates off and onto ships.

Once the Cataclysm struck, things changed. He couldn't sit around and wait for opportunities, he had to make them himself.
