He's always wearing handcuffs and a jack'o lantern on his head. People aren't sure why, and if you ask him, he doesn't know why either, but he refuses to take them off. He likes to wear fancy clothes and normally doesn't change them because his handcuffs make it very difficult to change outfits.

Personality

Jazz is a very odd fellow. He talks fast at times like a talk show host, and he tends to ramble about things that don't make the least bit of sense, but the truth that not a lot of people know is that Jazz isn't actually crazy. Jazz just likes to make people laugh (or piss them off, whichever comes first).

He has a pumpkin on his head along with a pair of hand cuffs and refuses to take them off. He's not sure why he had them in the first place (previous memories in his previous life were lost), but he feels as though he should keep them on until he figures out –why- he's wearing them in the first place….

He's searching for a famous jazz band called ‘White Tuxedo' (which he unknowingly was a part of). The band he's searching for has long broken up, but he does not know this and even if someone told him, he'd say that they were lying and deny all their claims.

Jazz has practiced fire magic simply to light his cigarettes when he was alive. He decided to better himself in the art of fire magic when he became a forsaken, though magic is only a side thing to him. His heart mainly lies with his love of smooth jazz music.

History

Jazz, or as he was originally named, Jeromy G. Ricardo, was born and raised in Goldshire. Ever since he was only 5 years old Jeremy loved jazz music, and when he was 12 he learned how to play the saxophone. He was awfully good, and most of the people in the town knew of the young jazz player. Eventually Jeromy made a jazz and with piano player Rick Delino, upper right bass player Kyle Delino (Rick's brother), and trumpet/trombone player James J. James.

The newly formed band ‘White Tuxedo' was a big hit. For many years the band's future was starting to look up but both of the Delino brothers didn't see as bright of a future for the band. With the Delino brothers' father in the war, both of them decided to quit the band to join the war effort. Jeromy was pissed that they simply quit out of the blue, he even tried to learn their instruments in hopes that he could play multiple instruments at once. James convinced him that that idea was both crazy and stupid and Jeromy dropped the idea of playing multiple instruments, but still learned how to play the piano and upper right band just for the hell of it.

James and Jeromy decided to continue ‘White Tuxedo's legacy by being a two person band of only saxophone and trumpet/trombone. With only one instrument being played at a time, Jeromy got the chance to learn to sing (it used to be Rick Delino's job). They got a few more years of fame but ‘White Tuxedo' never took off and a two person band. James told Jeremy that they should consider retiring, and ending the band. Jeromy never wanted the band to end, but it did. Despite Jeromy's outrage to the band splitting up, James and Jeremy stayed friends.

2 or 3 years after the band broke up, there was a letter that was received by James that the Delino brothers that they'd be in Lorderon soon. James got Jeromy to come along with him (even though Jeromy was still mad at the Delino brothers). Once they got there the reunion wasn't at all a good one. Jeromy got in an argument with the Delino brother (specifically Rick) about the past and how the band could have been huge if they just stayed in the band. Jeromy eventually left the reunion to get drunk that night. He was drunk to the point where he ended up with a Jack-o'-lantern on his head (harvest festival near the bar at the time), and ended up in a bar fight. Jeromy was arrested that night in the bar fight and was handcuffed, but before he was even able to make it to the court house, the plague of undeath hit.

Jeromy woke up with his consciousness as a forsaken and with no memory of his previous life. After walking around confused for a while he came across a flyer of a band called ‘White Tuxedo'. The memories of their music filled his head and he made it his goal to find them in concert (even though the band was long broken up). He took on the name Jazz, because of his favorite genre of music.
