Personality

Alignment: Lawful good.

When Jaeden was younger, she was a very outgoing person. She had plenty of friends, got along with almost everyone, and was your typical, happy adolescent. However, after The Fall of Quel'Thalas when most of her family, including her parents, were killed, Jaeden's behavior changed. She grew ornery and rude, and generally alienated herself from others. Any of her friends that had also survived, were pushed away by her terrible attitude. It only took her a year to become completely alone, and then she festered in her own self pity. She is still passive aggressive to most people and holds a seriousness about herself. However, if she knows you well enough, then you can sometimes see the old Jaeden pop out once in a while to say hello. Such a sight is rarely seen.

History

Jaeden was born and raised into the house of Firesong. She was a fairly smart child, an obvious trait, but even as she grew older, she was always unsure of what she wanted to do or be. Most of her decisions, like sneaking out during the night or sneaking an alcoholic drink now and then, were purely impulsive. So, when she came to be around the age of 98, she decided that she wanted to follow in her mother's footsteps and become a priest. For two whole years she studied on and off about the mechanics of the Light, of how it was used and where it came from. Though this was common knowledge, Jaeden was always thorough in what she did. When it came to be her 100th birthday, she was sure of her path and wanted to put down the books and actually start progressing in her career.

Around that time Arthas, haunted by the ghost of Kel'Thuzad, invaded Quel'Thalas and laid siege to the elves' crumbling defenses. Jaeden's mother, a priest, and father, a ranger, were killed while trying to protect the sunwell, along with a few other relatives. Devastated, Jaeden gave up her dream to become a priest and fell into a deep depression. When she was of age, she drank almost constantly in hopes to shove away her unwanted thoughts. She shunned her friends in her drunkenness and was soon hated by them all. As Jaeden stayed home and bathed in her own pool of despair, the others moved on with their lives and became something. Although eventually, years later, Jaeden pushed away her alcoholic tendencies and preferred to walk around with an inner depression instead of wearing it on her sleeve. It was easier this way, and people tended to leave her alone. She would wander around Silvermoon, either sitting on a bench and watching people walk by or lingering in an inn to watch bar fights, to keep her entertained.

She had been approached by many suitors surprisingly, perhaps maybe a brooding woman alone in the corner was attractive, but she shot them down one by one without mercy. Even Krian Duskbinder, her future fiance, didn't have much luck his first time around. However, after a bit of a talk in the Royal Exchange, he managed to convince her to agree to one date. She planned to go along and then shoo him off afterwards so that she could at least say that she gave him a chance, but she actually found herself liking the stupid, impulsive Blood Knight. So, while listening to her heart instead of her brain for once in 30 plus years, she decided to keep Krian close.

Along the way, Jaeden was introduced to one of Krian's old 'friends'. A warlock woman by the name of Caidrah. Jaeden soon found out that they were both secret followers of Kael'thas. She was devistated, but Krian insisted that those times were behind him. Later that month, Jaeden was taking a stroll through Eversong when she encountered Caidrah and another elf. They both restrained the woman and dragged her off somewhere discreet. They killed her right when Krian arrived, and then killed him soon after.

The two were resurrected, though not without consequence. Jaeden, who had been burned to death by fel-fire, now brandished terrible scars all over her body. Krian soon found a solution, and they were mostly healed, but she still bares the scars. They are almost invisible, but can be seen if looked at closely.

The two were married. Weeks gave way to months, and months gave way to years, and the two of them have had, so far, lived an uneventful life out in Eversong.
