Appearance

Though of average height for a woman, Ireni's body is carefully balanced, trained for both speed and strength. Her clothing is chosen to accentuate this, As much protection as she can afford with out sacrificing a great amount of flexibility. Her fiery bronze-gold hair is cut short, just below her ears, and parted on the side. She often wears a sweet, almost innocent smile.

Usual Garments/Armor: Clothing and armor that is as finely made as you can adventure in with out drawing too much attention. When doing business Glita wears dark reds and black, preferably with a helmet that masks her face.

History

Born the only daughter to a well-to-do merchant family, she was alternately spoiled and teased by her mostly-male family. With six older brothers, thrice as many male cousins and uncles well...it's a lot of bead hair in the drain. Rather than being tempered by all this exemplary dwarfishness, she grew accustomed to being the center of attention. Being a child of old age didn't help, as her parents had lost some of the fierceness that young parents have and tended to dote rather than discipline. Her life was one of comfort and entertainment. The second war would have passed with out her note if only Dolan, her favorite brother and the one closest in age to her, hadn't left for it and never came back. It was the first time she heard the words "can't" and "no" in earnest. Quite an eye opener for a spoiled girl and one that sowed the seeds of her future choices.

The third war saw the greatest impact to the Silverstar clan, a majority of the menfolk went to arms and died 'honorable' deaths. Ireni didn't feel this was the case, as the sudden lack of hands forced her parents back to work and set her into an apprenticeship. Manual labor didn't appeal to the girl and these changes meant less money, time and things and her first real responsibilities ever. Needless to say she went through several different apprenticeships before finding one that suited her. And that was tailoring. Among the fabrics and stitches was a world Ireni had never seen, full of gossip and intrigue. Mistress Igraine wasn't the kind of dwarf who took a hard line for 'honor and glory'. A little of the right kind of information could go a long way to testing any dwarfs meddle. Her apprentice took to this philosophy like shine to gold.

And so Glita was born in the treachery and power plays that are associated with every aristocracy and Ireni became the mask for good society. Her family was thrilled with the sudden change in her behavior, writing it off as learning the value of a hard days work. In truth she had just started the process of building herself a reputation. Given the laws against some of Mistress Igraine's better lessons this was only just good sense. Better they never suspect at all!

Which is a fine theory, but alas eventually even the best rogue is going to bob instead of weave. Igraine Steelforge, in an unprecedented turn of events, was accused and found guilty of a number of crimes. The least of which were blackmail, drug smuggling and the acquiring, transporting and sale of slaves. Thankfully, Ireni was careful enough not to be directly involved in any of her mistresses dealings and no evidence could be found to suggest she was anything but a tailor working under a master. While being cleared of all charges, the atmosphere in Ironforge wasn't nearly as inviting as before. So, rather than take over her mistresses shop and toe the line, she opted to 'study abroad' for a time. Travel through the lands of the Alliance and learn what she could about the world.

Personality: Ireni isn't really a person per say. She's a mask that Glita has carefully cultivated over the years to hide her doings. Appearing magnanimous and charismatic, Ireni is the epitome of dwarfishness. Glita is a greedy, selfish individual who revels in cheating and getting away with it.
