Appearance

Hralg cares little for appearance, and more for function. His choice in clothing reflects this and he can be seen wearing ensembles of little more than britches during a hot Durator day, or full armor when preparing for combat.

Personality

Many Orcs hold honor in high regard, and many more think it glorious to die in battle. Hralg does not fall into either of those categories. Like any other Orc he is un-afraid of combat, though, Hralg tends to run when his victory seems impossible to attain, usually sacrificing honor in the process. Also, another ‘against the Orc culture grain' attribute of Hralg is his value of cunning above valor. He holds himself proudly when speaking of his own passionate views of tactics and manipulation. His favorite phrase is this, “Fight with your head, not your heart.”

His cunning, though, is not to be confused with wit, for wit is something he lacks. Snappy come backs, quick jokes and the ability to rhyme all escape him.

Otherwise outgoing, Hralg is honest and outspoken with his opinions, always making sure everyone knows how -he- thinks things should be done.

History

Hralg grew up in one of the Orcish internment camps of the post-second-war-Azeroth and for much of his early childhood was dominated by the orders of cruel human overlords. When Thrall came to liberate his people Hralg was little more than a whelp, but from the great conquests of his peoples new leader, the young Orc was instilled with the values of honor and glory.

Hralg grew up as a brave Warrior, and upon reaching adulthood fought along side his brethren in arms for a new age in the New Horde. Though slowly, Hralg changed. Upon his first entering the military he saw brave, young, good Orcs die slow, painful and sorrowful deaths. Unlike his more professional comrades, Hralg was deeply effected by the loss of lives for the sake of a virtue called honor, seemingly worth less and less to Hralg's eyes.

During his time in the military Hralg earned the name Drydagger, for his habit of heating a simple dirk over hot coals before going into combat. The result being a glowing hot blade that would cauterize the wounds it inflected upon enemies. The cauterization prevented blood from being spilled and thus, Drydagger.

Time wore on and Hralg became more and more pessimistic. His behaviors reflected a downward spiral as he became subversive and angst ridden. Finally, as if a climax to accumulate the full scope of his hopelessness, Hralg left the army.

After leaving the armed forces he never managed to get back on his feet and find a new source of steady income. For a long period he wandered the wastes of Durator living an even more primal lifestyle than what Orcs are accustomed to.

During his time in the wilds Hralg cultivated an impressive respect for the elements and learned a unique brand of philosophy from the natural order. Strengthened by his new found faith in his races old religion Hralg resolved to return to Ogrimmar and start anew.

Little time has passed since his return to Ogrimmar and Hralg still struggles to become independent. Currently relying on the charity of others and the pay attained from his temporary job as an honest day laborer. He lives a mediocre lifestyle, striving to find his niche in the world, yearning for glory and excitement.
