Head of House: Berenice is the head of House Trevelyan.

How did the family rise to nobility? They were an old mercenary company which gained prestige and were granted a fief by the King many years ago.

How does the family sustain its wealth? Whitehaven, a small village which belonged to the Trevelyan family, would sustain the family's wealth through the trading of spices - this village is no longer underneath House Trevelyan, as it had to be sold in order to sustain the house. It is due to financial reasons, and the death of Reginald, that House Trevelyan has become what it is to date. The people of Whitehaven didn't want their liege to be an outsider; someone who was not of the Trevelyan dynasty.

What sort of assets does the family have? House Trevelyan once owned the village of Whitehaven, but as Berenice sold the village in order to sustain herself and because of their complaints. Grindstone Keep still belongs to House Trevelyan, as does a small army of one-hundred men - the numbers continue to dwindle, as the financial crisis with House Trevelyan is causing everything to suffer.

What is the family known for? The family was previously known for Rufus Trevelyan, and his son Reginald Trevelyan. It is now known as nothing more than a 'dead family', with an outsider at its head.

How old is the family? How long has the family been nobility? Since before the First War.

Is the family open for members to join? If so, let them know how to contact you here as well as what you're looking for: At this moment in time I'm uncertain, Berenice being the last of the family means that she is alone.
