Personality

Histelenes characteristics are a contrast to those of her sister, Helena. Histelene is selfish and tends to act shortsighted. Her stubbornness usually tends to result in trouble or a short test of battle abilities. Besides that, chains of deep thoughts and cleverness aren't her strong point and most emotions who are based on them, either. She rarely shows empathy for others and has a short temper. She also lacks some politeness.

But the first negative impression many may get of Histelene can mislead. She isn't a lost case. Her stubbornness usually prevents her from giving up. She also knows, how to motivate people and her mindless state is responsible for her quick actions.

History

Histelene Brightfish is the younger daughter of the Brightfish family, which consisted of the parents Tom Brightfish, Amelin Brightfish, the oldest brother James Brightfish and the three sisters Histelene Brightfish, Helena Brightfish and Annelene Brightfish. Tom Brightfish died due to an illness called 'Redfrog lung', a subcategory of the flu. Not able to support all four children alone, Amelin gave three of the four children to the children's home in Stormwind. The only child she kept was Annelene Brightfish.

So, Histelene Brightfish grew up with her brother James Brightfish and her sister Helena Brightfish. While James Brightfish was quick accepted under the other children, Histelene and Helena weren't. They usually spend freetime only together, isolated from the others. When Histelene was 13, James already left the children's home. He quickly became an apprentice mage in Stormwind. While Helena Brightfish always liked the idea of becoming a magican, Histelene despised them. She thought, that mages only hide behind their spells to conceal their weak bodies.

When they reached the age of eighteen, both left the children's home and tried immediately to find an apprenticeship or a work. Helena Brightfish wanted to follow the steps of James and made an application in the mage tower of stormwind. Histelene tried to become a guard of Stormwind.

Surprisingly, both failed. Helena wasn't able to read properly, so she couldn't read tomes and folios, therefore not learn any spells. Histelene simply wasn't obedient enough to become a guard. She didn't act under orders properly. Since both didn't have an incoming and couldn't go back to the children's home, because they were already grown up, they needed to find a way to finance their daily life. They started robbing the people with the help of sneaky tricks. They realized quick, that with Helenas words and Histelenes back up they could easily make some coins, when they would pick the right person in the right place to the right time. They lived like that for years together, until they got finally caught one day by a guard, who randomly came across the place they used to make their incoming. Afterwards, they slept some days in the prison of Stormwind. The punishment wasn't very long, since pickpocketing and trickery are minor violations of the law.

After their release, they decided to have their way more traditional as highwayman and find some followers to have better chances of survival and to have people they can rely on.
