Around her neck hangs a simple yet beautifully carved talisman in a leather string.

Appearance

Harka wears various bits and pieces of armor, mostly made from hardened leather, reinforced mail and small pieces of plate were necessary. Though the armor is somewhat revealing, it is likely meant as an act of defiance towards enemies who wear much heavier armor, sacrificing mobility for protection.

Personality

Harka is a tough little lady who never says no to a free drink or a fair fight. She believes in honoring the Warchief, the elders and the ancestors, though prefers to choose her own battles (when they don't find her first, that is). Headstrong and good-humored, she believes that fortune favors the brave and will often let herself be swayed by the promise of gold and glory. Although she carries a two-handed axe on her back, she prefers a very hands-on approach to fighting (literally). Breaking limbs and snapping bones out of sockets have earned her a fitting surname.

History

Born in the captivity of the Lordearonian internment camps, Harka was but a child when the upstart warchief liberated his people from the human oppressors. Though Harka's mother was cut down during the burning of Durnholde, Harka herself was saved through the courageous actions of her father. Together with the rest of the orcs, father and daughter followed Thrall to the lands of Kalimdor, mourning their losses yet determined to honor the fallen through their own stubborn survival.

Many moons passed and the orcs slowly began to recover from the lethargy that plagued them as they took on the new tasks laid before them. Harka gradually matured into a strong, independent girl awning to escape the protective wing of her father and prove herself a member of the “new horde”. Despite her wish to take up arms, and her plight to be treated as an adult, she did not accompany her father to Mount Hyjal where the final battle of the Third War took place. Though Archimonde the demon was ultimately defeated, it was at a great cost to orcs, humans and elves alike.

Harka's father did not return, having given his life to protect the vision of a new land for his people and his only child. Harka bore her loss with pride, knowing that her father's sacrifice had been necessary to attain victory. Though the body of her father was never found, a few of his belongings were recovered and passed on to her, among them a necklace of carved talbuk antlers from her fathers homeland of Draenor, which Harka chose to wear in his memory as she made her own way in the war-torn world.
