Personality

Hafal is a calm and friendly individual with interest towards the people he meets on his travels, but with the recent events he has taken a more cautious approach on the world. Wary of whether they might be hiding their intentions or not.

With the ongoing race for survival between the Horde and the Alliance, Hafal took a very cautious standing on the members and allies of the Alliance. First determining whether the Alliance member he meets is friendly or hostile and always hits back when struck upon. His standings with the Horde are of the friendly kind but he dislikes the supporters of Garrosh and hopes this foolishness ends soon.

History

Hafal was born within the warrior caste of the Darkspear tribe and grew up in his youth in a constant competition of survival of the fittest. Where he sometimes won and sometimes lost, but all in all he grew up to be a respected warrior in training. His parents cared for him as he was their only pride and joy, always making sure he understood the right combat techniques to win a fight. He used this knowledge during training or during one of his many hunts in the nearby wilderness.

When he was but fifteen years old, the Murlocs grew more restless and performed bigger and stronger raids on the village he lived in. Like the little warrior he was they made him pickup arms and help defend the tribe, but through intervention of his parents he was stopped and they instead kept each other safe until the Orcs arrived to drive the Murlocs away. Along with the Kul'Tirian invasion force that were marching upon the Darkspear Trolls.

The Darkspear tribe had another setback a year later, when Zalazane forced them to settle in the town of Sen'jin. He and his parents were spared most of the trouble from this as they lived closer to the coast. Soon the things returned back to normal for Hafal and he picked up his training again until he was reaching the age of eighteen.

At the age of eighteen he was preparing for the initiation trials to become a warrior to go on raids with the rest of the tribe. A big moment for a Troll and a bit of stress welled up naturally. To calm his mind, he set out to go for one last hunt as a initiate. Tracking down a elusive prey he only saw tracks from, snakelike but too broad to be of a small serpentine. This was true when he heard hissing as a Naga fell into his pitfall trap! An exciting trophy worthy to bring home to say the least and one he still keeps on his person to this day. When he returned home and showed the head to his parents they cheered and congratulated their son on his fine trophy. They even held a small celebration to wash even more stress from their son's shoulders.

When the week for the initiation trials began, Hafal first had to prove his strength through a series of gauntlet matches with local prey gathered from around the village. He got through them with the sweat on his brows and the strength in his arms. Next came the trial of loyalty, this consisted of a witch doctor calling on to the Loa to gain a deeper understanding of the initiates. He too, passed this test and for the final test he had to join in the next raid which was planned so for the next day. A memorable fight it was as the Human caravan that was selected for a raid was well guarded but through good teamwork and effort of the raiders, they managed to gain a victory in the end and return as warriors of the Darkspear tribe.

When the tensions rose between the Alliance and the Horde, Hafal did his part to keep the lands around Sen'jin safe from incursions of the Alliance. He kept honing his skills when he wasn’t out hunting or going on the occasional raid on the Alliance. Some years later he felt he growing need to find a mate he could share the rest of his life with, so in his daily routine he added looking for potential mates but with a few flirts here and there he never found one then.

He stayed in the village too when troubles stirred on the ancestral home world of the Orcs, rather keeping to his training and duties to the village. But this changed when the Lich King awoke in the lands of Northrend. He honoured the call of duty when a recruiter for the army passed through Sen’jin. Once he arrived on the lands of the Frozen North, he did his best at the duties he was assigned to and gained respect from the people he worked with. When the campaign had ended and his duty was fulfilled, he returned back to Sen’jin and even helped in the battle for the Echo Isles.

His peaceful life in one day was disturbed by the events known as The Shattering. Here he decided to travel the world to see what aid he could provide while going on a journey that will take him to faraway lands and memorable events.
