Personality: Gutla is not a talker, very rarely does she open her mouth to speak. Even with people she can call allies or friends, she'll only talk when she feels it absolutely necessary. She isn't an unskilled talker, rather articulated in fact. When not on some self issued quest, she can often be seen parsing some grim tome in study. She'll very rarely do anything that won't benefit her in some way, and holds little loyalty or trust with others.

History: Born in an internment camp, Gutla's childhood was equal to countless others of the time in being perfectly miserable. Though as unhealthy and inhumane as the camps proved to be, Gutla had came of age not knowing life in any other way. Certainly many others were in constant outrage or anger at their situation, she was too for a time. But unable to do anything about such a predicament, Gutla grew content over time.

Gutla had survived the hunger, the forced labor and the sicknesses that would occasionally wash over the internment camps, until the point when Thrall's new Horde liberated the camp she was in. Obviously she followed the liberator's cause to Kalimdor when the time came, but wasn't of fighting age when they'd arrived. She spent a short time etching out an existence around Razor Hill when they'd finally settled. Her time in the camps gave her plenty of time to get a basic idea on what mosses, mushrooms and such may be edible. The last years of her childhood were spent foraging along riverbeds and near beaches, care-full not to arouse the attention of Quillboar or other beasts.

When the time came for young Gutla to go to the Valley of Trials, it was the morbid curiosity of the spell books, the skulls and the stories those who'd met powerful warlocks would sometimes tell. Sure, they were hated by those around them. But she'd spent nearly half her life imprisoned by those who hated her. She did not catch on quickly, when the actual training began. Though whereas her trainer was not particularly kind, he was at the very least patient. Gutla passed her trials by the skin of her teeth, and was advised to pick up some trade skills in her travels just in case. Now old enough to look after herself and with her time in the Valley of Trials complete, the warlock migrated her way to Orgrimmar. She spent a few years as a Neophyte in the Cleft of Shadows, serving and learning from the disciple's masters.

As Gutla's twenty third birthday passed by without notice, she had a strong case of wanderlust built up in her system. Having grown tired of the workings in the Cleft of Shadows and confident in her own abilities, she set out from the gates of Durotar. In search of adventure to further hone her skill, and to search for ways to increase her power further. She gave herself the last name of Sickspell, to correspond with her affinity for the school of Affliction. She now wanders Azeroth, looking for battles to test herself, as well as search for ways to strengthen her power.
