Personality

Alignment: Chaotic Good

Grukk is a cynical person at heart, and he's very pious. He's friendly, but he's not open to share much about himself to others unless they are good friends. He respects the laws, and he holds honor and respect for others, unless it is shown that he shouldn't. He's very self-reflective, and often spends silent times staring off in the distance, just simply thinking. He's sometimes sarcastic and rude without meaning to be so, but he is a person very willing to apologize. He's usually not stubborn, and just goes along to get along.

History

Grukk was born just before the beginning of the internment camps of the orcs to two, Grumma and Grekk. He was taken into the camps as an infant, and was treated as an animal by the humans for twelve long, grueling years. His parents were of little comfort. After those twelve years, an orc rose above the rest, Warchief Thrall. At this time, he began to take some orcs and form his Exodus. Grukk, a young twelve, was part of these orcs. His parents had both died spiteful, brutal deaths at the hands of the camp guards. Grukk did nothing for most of the Exodus sailing, even when the Darkspear trolls were introduced to the ranks of orcs as allies. Only once landing on Kalimdor did Grukk's story truly begin.

Upon landing on Kalimdor, Grukk was taken under by an orc, referred to by others simply as 'Elder' or 'Master'. This orc acted as a guide, a parent, and a mentor to Grukk. And to this orc Grukk was both a child and a pupil.

For eleven long years, Grukk did most anything. He learned to hunt and track to catch food for himself and others, he learned basic weaponry. For five years Grukk was as any orc, assisting to build the glorious Orgrimmar and helping to scout, catch food, etc. For the next six years, though, 'Master' realized Grukk had the potential to be a powerful shaman. He was then taken under the tutelage of this orc, being taught in the ways of the Pyremaster. Grukk continued to help in way of building Orgrimmar, but he abandoned much of the hunting and weaponry, dedicating nearly all of his waking time to the Pyremaster practices and rituals.

Around the time of Grukk peaking his studies of the arts of the Pyre under his own Master, the Cataclysm struck, erupting Azeroth at the seams. He set certain his path, bound in his armor crafted by his Master, which was imbued with fire to remain warm and not risk destruction under natural fire. He was also wielding the rune-imbued staff of Pyre wood as he set out into Azeroth. In this venture, Grukk seeks answers to this new Cataclysm, and seeks to bring peace and wisdom to all he crosses in his path.

Skills and Abilities

Flame Weapon - The Pyremaster's weapon is set ablaze in magical flames.

Create Pyre - Flames are created beneath the Pyremaster's feet. As long as they remain in this fire and it is not extinguished, the flame will heal for small amounts at a time.

Burst - The Pyremaster can cause a section of ground to erupt into magical flame, causing damage to enemies.

The Pyremaster can use cremated or aflame bones to receive a portion of the future, though it is often short and vague.

The Pyremaster, if highly skilled, can use the ashes of a dead creature to communicate with it. The Pyremaster can ask unlimited questions, and the spirit of the creature will have the knowledge that the creature itself had in life. The spirit will not be able to create new memories, so it will not remember being questioned. Most answers are usually brief, cryptic, and/or repetitive. The Pyremaster doesn't physically speak to the spirit, it just draws information which is imbued to the soul in the ashes.

Due to their unique and specific training, Pyremaster's can also use natural flames to heal themselves, and they have immunity to all natural fires, and a resistance to flames of magical property.

(Because of the Pyremaster's affinity to fire, water and cold can be lethal, and cold weather can be crippling to some Pyremasters.)
