Her actions are the result of a belief that the spirits want her to act this way. She listens to their voices, real or imagined, and performs the tasks that they tell her to do without complaint. Truthfully, she enjoys the work. The troll woman often speaks to the spirits when she is upset.

Groshner is unfailingly loyal to the few friends that she is able to make. They often share her interests. The troll loathes the Alliance. She is unable to understand the concepts of self-sacrifice and doing good things for other people without any benefit to herself. As a result, she is disdainful of "do-gooders."

History: Even as a child Groshner was considered a little odd. She expressed an unusual amount of interest in the spirits of her people, often hearing their voices in her head and attempting to communicate with them. Sometimes publicly. As a result, she was picked on for much of her childhood and called names. She didn't mind, however, because she had the spirits to keep her company.

When she was a teenager, Groshner was approached by an old troll. Like her, he was a recluse and was mocked by his peers. He had been isolated from the tribe many years earlier and lived in the jungle some distance away. He had noticed her and her particularities and was intrigued. The troll took her under wing, not as a protector or friend, but in order to study her and her innate abilities. He likened his efforts to teaching a raptor how to read and was frequently very cruel to Groshner. In time his efforts were successful and she learned how to use the power.

When she was 17, she and her mentor were attacked by a band of humans residing in Stranglethorn Vale. They overwhelmed the pair. He was killed and she was captured. When Groshner next awoke, she was a captive of the men, who had been soldiers of the Third War who had deserted and fled south in order to avoid prosecution. They kept her at their camp, originally as a prisoner and later as their slave, though their leader did seem a little too interested in her. Groshner didn't like them: the humans were mean to her, and they looked and smelled funny. However, the spirits told her to remain with them and she dutifully listened.

One evening the spirits told her that it was time to leave the camp. She enticed the leader to join her tent, but attacked him when he was unarmored. The troll woman took his cloak, wrapped it around her, and crept out of the deserters camp undetected. When she was far enough away as to not attract attention, she ran. Groshner fled back to her tribe, but they refused to accept her back into the fold after having lived outside of the tribe for so long and for having consorted with her mentor. Angry at their rejection, she left.

Groshner managed to board a boat heading west to the continent of Kalimdor, where she had heard that another tribe of jungle trolls, the Darkspear trolls, had managed to create a new home with the help of their orcish allies. She remained there for some time, but felt like she didn't belong there either. Following the whispers of the spirits, she took an airship headed to the former kingdom of Lordaeron, content to lose herself in the wilds in comunion with them.

She found a little area in Tirisfal Glades that she could call upon spirits in safety. She stayed there for about a year, living alone other than for the spirits who were her only companions. One day, a strange thing happened well she was chanting to the spirits. An undead ran into her hiding place followed by mindless zombies. As they were slaughtering the zombies, they started to get to know each other and found that they had about the same views on things.

After the zombies died they got to know each other very well. Soon after the undead and her became great friends. They still keep in touch with each other by every now and again meeting at Ghostlands. She’s just been working on her own powers currently. Though her behaviors may seem to be senseless and murderous that is because she sees spirits all around talking to her and murder is the only way she can seem to get rid of them. She also has learned to survive by eating those she murders, her powers are often violent displays.
