He prefers purple and grey clothes. Purple would be for social matters and grey for experiments.

Personality

Geggles is a typical whacked professor archetype. He's friendly, yet not much of a social creature. He talks with terms that are usually too complex for commoners to understand. Even though he's a mage and a tinkerer he's not very arrogant, though he will say his inventions are superior to the rest, like any tinkerer would. His mind is often dwelling in the higher spheres of technical contraptions and so he might sound distant or oblivious to the world around him. He's perfectly capable of having a conversation or discussion, but he's prone to suddenly having new ideas in which case he is forced to interrupt the conversation, either suddenly walking of or scribbling something down on his noteblock.

Although he's a young Gnome, he's quite a clever engineer. He is trying to use his arcane power to enhance is contraptions or use contraptions to enhance his arcane powers. He thinks he has made a marvellous discovery by thinking that crystalized mana can actually be useful as a fuel, and he will spend his lifetime discovering and inventing every single possibility. He has made a few inventions so far, most of them being weaponry. His second skill is alchemy, he's not a very good alchemist, as his concoctions are prone to combust, but his alchemical skills have helped him with some of his discoveries.

Geggles is a novice mage, he has only just started his study at Dalaran, having to wait until the city was restored and has much to learn. Luckily he's a Gnome and a clever person. He's learning quite quickly. He isn't and probably won't be a very powerful mage, but his ingenuity and his contraptions might make him a challenging opponent. He isn't the bravest of Gnomes though, and usually doesn't fight unless there are some people backing him up. But, if there's Gnomish damsels in need professor Geggles Steamwrench will do his very best to save them.

History

Geggles is part of a quintuplet. He was born in Gnomeregan, just like any Gnome. He was almost identical to his brothers in appearance so they used to make fun of confusing their parents and other people. Out of the five he was often the quietest one. He enjoyed tinkering with his toys more than prolonged conversations. He enjoyed the company of his twin brothers and sisters however.

Geggles started to tinker when he was able to wield a wrench, which was from the age of 5. It started with small things like toys, and most of his toys were his creations which weren´t very complex. Of course, his brother did the same thing and together they had enough toys to make an entire toy-store. Gradually his toys became more and more complex.

Geggles was 30 when the second war began. He never noticed much of it has he lived underground, out of reach from the Orcs who ravaged the surface. He wasn't old enough to fight, but he would help other Gnome engineers with their inventions who would aid the alliance. From that moment Geggles would specialize in making weapons. He was fairly good for an engineer but he lacked a breakthrough.

His first breakthrough would be of a different nature. When Geggles became an adult it was discovered he could use magic. He began studying magic from other Gnome magi has he didn't want to leave his family. He learned at an average rate but after a few years it became clear however that Geggles would never reach his potential if he didn't go to Dalaran. But Geggles was hesitating.

When the third war started the Troggs invaded Gnomeregan. Geggles and his brothers fought against the onslaught of Troggs, but to no avail. Neither his magic nor his inventions could safe Gnomeregan so they had to flee. Geggles has always seen this as his personal failure so he decided he should make the journey to Dalaran to become a better mage.

Alas when he arrived in Dalaran he didn't find a magical city of spires. The city was destroyed by Archimonde and only a small number of Kirin Tor remained within the city. His study would have to be postponed. Geggles helped the remaining Kirin tor to recover valuable relics, books and other artifacts from the ruins. He studied and tinkered in his spare time. His inventions aided the mages is fending off the undead from the city.

When the Dalaran was rebuilt Geggles resumed his study. The nexus wars started but Geggles wasn't adept enough to participate in them. Tinkering was frowned upon within the bound of Dalaran so Geggles took alchemy as his new hobby. However during one of his experiments his concoction exploded and made his hair a snowy white instead of brown like his brothers. Geggles' expansive mind allowed him to learn quickly. He often discovered new ways to use certain spells or incantations. It was when Geggles learned how to conjure a mana crystal that he had his first Gnomish eureka moment. He imagined the crystal could serve as a fuel and many other things in the field of science. Obsessive as he is he discontinued his studies and travelled back to Gnomeregan resume tinkering.
