Race: Troll

Skills and Abilities: Gaz is a skilled martial artist, preferring to almost always fight with just his fists, even against heavily armored enemies. He is a very fast attacker and can put the power of the elements behind his blows. The way he was trained, and how his skills work, is that he uses a singular element of his choice and his usual choice is the element of Fire. Though he can fight without his powers, he relies heavily on the boost of strength he receives, and can be caught off guard when he suddenly does not have said powers.

Age: 38

Sex: Male

Eyes: Red

Weight: 306 lbs.

Appearance

Usual Garments/Armor: He doesn't wear much clothing. His body is mostly covered by cloth bandages tied tightly around him, sometimes fresh, sometimes a bit bloodied. Other than the bandages, he wears a pair of shoddy pants, occasionally getting a new pair that will get just as beaten up and torn.

Other: He usually has decently fresh cuts, bruises, and scrapes scattered around his body. He trains himself very hard and, in turn, his body takes a lot of punishment from said training.

Personality

Gaz is a pretty mellow Troll, for the most part. He takes his training very seriously, though he doesn't usually show much seriousness. He also is very protective of the Elements and sees things such as Death Knights, Warlocks and other 'unnatural' things(Demon Hunters) as abominations and doesn't even refer to them as people, usually calling them 'it' or saying that they're just someone's pet, not even worth noting.

He also has a somewhat conservative view on females. He doesn't feel they are property or something to be used for mating, but sometimes he'll not realize that he's addressing them more as objects or possessions, mostly out of habit, though.

Gaz also has an..unhealthy obsession with defeating people. Whether someone beat him in a sparring match, or he lost in a real battle and was allowed to live.. He takes it as a challenge and must beat them. If he wins 9 times but loses 10, he will not stop until he has at least one more victory over them. He also has developed the bad habit of taking those he sees as close friends also as rivals and will sometimes even go to the point of stalking them for a fight.

Gaz is an anxious Troll as well. He cannot deal with idleness. Stagnation. It rips him apart and bores his mind and body. He needs constant motion, constant change and trials to face. Another reason for this is that he is constantly hearing the voices of the Elements and Spirits around him and due to the constant turmoil and conflict in the world, the constant imbalances, they are always furious. And since he uses that rage to boost his own power, he must unleash it somewhere or he gets very agitated and angry.

History

Gaz was born on the Darkspear islands to a very large family. His father, his mother, and then seven older siblings. And they were quite the rowdy bunch. Five brothers, two sisters and then Gaz, the baby. And they made sure he knew he was the baby. The oldest was mean to the second, which went to the third and so on, so by the end, Gaz was getting pent up rage of everyone. And this is where Gaz developed his.. obsession with challenging others. He was always defending himself in some way, the only way to keep the older siblings at bay was to fight them back. And that he did. Of course, in his mind.. he just enjoyed the challenge. Gaz loved the fighting and reveled in it. As he grew up, he became much more aggressive a fighter and became a warrior of the village. Though, one of the Elders was put off by him. Not in a bad way, but it was odd. Though he was a fierce fighter, he seemed to be distracted by things, his attentions being drawn away by some unseen force.. When an Elder Shaman inspected the young Troll, he noticed something special about him. Special in that he seemed to hear the elements, he noticed them on a more intimate level than his peers. And this was when he was taken in to begin his training as that of a Shaman..

Over the years, Gaz would take on his trials and training head on, eager to learn the next thing, face the next challenge. He was too eager in his younger years, but as he trained more and more, this dulled.. Somewhat.

He still was always eager to face new challenges.. And this is when the Orcs arrived. They were strong and fierce, he got along with them immediately. And after the Orcs saved the Trolls from their plight, it seemed there was one challenge after another. First the Murlocs were destroying his people, and then the Alliance raided their Islands. And even after they were fought off, then there was Zalazane, who again forced his people out of their home. No matter what, there was always another trial to face. A foe to fight. He reveled in it. Gaz loved the fighting, overcoming the hardship, coming out victorious, but the Troll was also saddened by it all. It was always something that hurt the elements. Some type of taint, an evil force that threatened not only all living beings, but the forces that kept the world stable and intact. This allowed him to fight harder, though, through all of the hardships the Horde faced.

First there were the countless skirmishes with Zalazane's army that Gaz would participate in but as the conflicts slowed to simple defenses of the shores, Gaz grew tired of it all.. There was nothing. Instead, he headed off towards the Barrens.. There, he fought with the numerous Quillboar tribes and Centaurs that threatened the Horde presence. Until he got word of the happenings in the Stonetalon Mountains. He immediately headed to the mountains and felt the presence of conflicting Elements, fire consuming earth and tree.. It was almost painful to the Troll. He felt the rage that filled the area and did the only thing he knew how to, to try and soothe it.. Fight. He spent a great deal of time traveling throughout the mountains, combating both Venture Company grunts that destroyed any forests there were to the Harpies and fire Elementals that nested and scorched. For years, this would be what Gaz would dedicate himself to. It was his form of training. When he heard of the Horde taking the battle up north against the Undead, he signed up to join them. Usually the mellow Troll, he despised the Scourge for all that they did, both to the living and the earth. He traveled to the north with the rest of the forces and fought numerous skirmishes and battles, though never attended in any of the major battles. But he did all in his power to fight back the undead menace.

And now.. The Lich King was destroyed, the world has defeated another foe.. So there was only one thing for Gaz to do. Train. And he did just that. He trained everywhere he could, against any he could. For this Troll, there was only the next challenge. And he constantly looked for that challenge.
