History

Gavint was born to a Stormwind mage of little renown and his wife sometime before the First War. Gavint's father raised Gavint as a mage in hopes that he would achieve his dreams of becoming an important Kirin Tor mage. Gavint was more hot headed in his youth and trained to become a battle mage giving minor attention to defensive magics. Gavint found he was more skilled than his colleagues and left school. The next few years Gavint spent his time lazing about, attending various parties and gatherings, and reading. By the time of the First War Gavint was out of practice, though he still enlisted as a battle mage.

Gavint fought alongside his father in the defense of Moonbrook Village. When the Horde assaulted the village Gavint charged forward awkwardly, he never really learned how to maneuver in armor. He quickly had his arm broken under his shield and was only saved by a more skilled footman who caught the Orc off guard. As Gavint stumbled off the battlefield he was again pursued by an attacker, this time he was saved by his father. His father in his old age hadn't much strength left in him. The attack exacerbated him, and he fell in battle to later be slain by an Orc. Gavint returned to Stormwind disheartened, when it came time to flee north Gavint took his mother and younger brother to Dalaran.

In Dalaran Gavint took to his studies and caring to his aging mother. In this time he had forgone the uses of offensive magics and stuck to more practical magics. He would spend his days away from his mother reading in the park, Gavint ignored the Second War entirely when it came around. While a good deal of the mages were gone to war Gavint took a position as a teacher while simultaneously honing his craft, where he once again fell into the Kirin Tor crowd.

Gavint would attend various Kirin Tor parties and mingle with some of the archmages of Dalaran, most of which were only known throughout the Kirin Tor. Gavint's mother had died of age during the Second War and Gavint had grown more mischievous since her death. Occasionally he would deceive the other wizards and even steal using magic, for Gavint had no loved ones and had grown misanthropic. Eventually he offended a higher up wizard of the Kirin Tor who would have Gavint exiled after a week.

Gavint once again returned to Stormwind, seeking his brother whom he had thought moved there from Dalaran. Gavint eventually received word that his brother had died from a "wasting illness", though he was unsure of it's meaning he carried on, becoming a recluse in Duskwood in a decaying manor he had bought with the sum of money he had left. Gavint ignored the Third War as well when it came around, though did have his interest piqued when he discovered his younger brother had produced offspring. Gavint found he had a nephew, whom he sought out over a period of time and eventually moved to live with. He now spends his time in the kingdom of Stormwind typically only caring for himself and his livelihood, along with hatching plans to fulfill his brooding desire to get back at the Kirin Tor magi that exiled him.
