Personality

Alignment: Lawful Neutral

If there was one word to describe Feylen, it's dedicated; dedicated to her house, dedicated to her people, dedicated to her family. Feylen tries to be friendly to all she meets, but holds a particular, personal distrust to other races. When it comes to family matters, business means business. When her studies are involved, Feylen tends to become quite passionate. In heated situations, Feylen doesnt like to be involved directly, and more prefers to support her siblings, friends and family instead. Otherwise she is fairly calm and collected when going about her life as she does.

History

Third born daughter and fifth child overall to Reigen Sunfire, Feylen was born into a time of relative peace. She spent much of her early life deep in studies under her houses' various tutors. She took to the path of magic, being fascinated by the kinds of powers she could one day hold. Occasionally going with her siblings or parents out on their travels, Feylen was able to see much of the world she lived in. Using these experiences, she went back and learned what she needed to in order to defend herself. Since then, her life was somewhat uneventful through the first war. Through the second war, when Feylen turned 78, her mother's husband and her grandfather both fell in the fights against the Orcs and the Trolls. This was a devastating blow to Feylen and her siblings. Feylen looked up to her mother, who took to running the house. Feylen was quite saddened by the losses and, as such, stepped away from her studies to try to calm herself down. Eventually she moved on, and returned to her studies.

A few years later, Feylen's studies were again interrupted by the impending Scourge Invasion. The house was sent into a frezy of movement as preperations were made to protect themselves from the coming doom. Feylen spent most of her time behind the front- her more able bodied brothers and sisters took to the main defence whilst Feylen spent her time supporting them with her defensive spells, specifically wards, force fields, and very occasionally taking the place of a sibling when they sustained an injury. There were losses to both sides- the family and the Scourge- but finally the enemy thinned out and disappeared, and the lands remained relatively safe.

When the Sunwell was destroyed, Feylen suffered, just like the rest of her people. She tried to remain level headed, but without her powers she felt like there was some important part of herself missing. She saw how it affected her mother and tried to remain strong, but deep down inside she was not the same. Feylen set out with her siblings and her family's servents to find any magic items that her mother could possibly drain to keep her alive. Feylen remained behind while others of her family followed Kael'thas through to Outland. She spent her time helping the servants with her mother, and living her life in the painful absense of the Sunwell.

Upon discovery of the Fel energies, Feylen was overjoyed at the possibility of regaining her powers. She anxiously awaited the return of her family members with the Fel Crystals and helped to have them set up around the grounds. She partook in the draining rituals, and after hearing that everyone had recovered, Feylen buried herself in her studies and practices once more. When the time came, Feylen backed her mother's decision to join the Horde in the name of their people.

When Reigen disappeared during a trip to the Argent Dawn and the children of the house were forced to take over, life became difficult for Feylen. She didnt want to have to sacrifice her studies yet again, but then again she also wanted to work with her siblings to keep the name of the house strong. Trying her best to avoid negatively affecting the House through her actions, Feylen stuck to helping out her other siblings wherever she could- wether it was helping them move resources, manage assets, or keeping other houses at bay. Feylen was allowed some breathing room to return to her studies when her Grandmother stepped in to help manage things.

The times without her mother were difficult for Feylen. The house relied on her and her siblings more than she was used to and the pressures were high. At a lower point in these struggles, Feylen left on a journey to other knowledge-rich places with hopes to learn more about the world so she could be of more use to her house in these hard times. She learnt much during these travels, and met with a number of people whom were as excited about history and the Arcane as she was. She tried her best to keep her identity as a Noble secret, lest anyone tried to take advantage of her. When she returned home, she found the situation there had degraded, and other Houses were taking advantage of the children. Soon, her mother returned to the House and sent the other houses away in an impressive display of verbal abuse.

Since then, Feylen has continued her constant studying in both her house and the outside world. She didnt spend much of her time communicating with her siblings, as all her time was taken up by her lust for learning. She continues to this day to keep the name of her house in high standards, around her own people or other race. She also continues to strengthen herself in both body and mind, in case her house comes under threat once more.

Skills and Abilities

A good defence
Feylen spent much of her studies looking into Arcane Magics, specifically those that are used in a defensive matter and has such become quite proficient in using magic for this purpose.
Diplomatic Matters
Both from her own studies and practices, and being born into a noble house, Feylen spent some of her studies learning negotiation techniques to fit a variety of potantially dangerous situations.
Gone like the wind
Feylen also spent some of her life using her practice of Arcane to learn how to escape dangerous situations. Should she come under threat, she can use these magics to confuse the enemy, misdirect them, or blink and run away from the danger.
