Appearance

A rather small fellow with constantly changing hair. He keeps his Goggles or his Eye-patch to keep the germs away from his eye. He has his left eye missing, from a run-in with a bear.

Personality

Alignment: Neutral

Eustace is paranoid. He thinks any, and every untamed animal deserves to die. ( Reasons explained below.) Other than that, he is a regular Happy-Go-Lucky gnome. And, ( Even though he doesn't want to admit it.) is an alcoholic. He does have a tendency to jump at the site of some races. He hates fighting in any form, unless absolutely necessary.

History

Eustace was an more of an outside person in his younger years. That is, until the horrible incident in Elwynn Forest.

Eustace was 25, and he had gone camping with his father. Eustace had left for some fire-wood, only to come back to find a bear entering the tent, where his father was. The bear had viciously swiped at the Gnome, leaving his cold, bloodied body upon the tent floor.

Eustace, seeing the bear, dived for the rifle. A rough landing gave the young Gnome a scrape on his knee. The bear, seeing as an older Gnome could not hurt him, walked slowly towards Eustace, apparently proud of his kill laying in the tent.

Eustace hurriedly loaded the rifle with a single solid shot. Aiming with his left arm, and hand, he fired, only to miss the target entirely. The bear took this as an opportunity, and swiped at Eustace's face, tearing out his right-eye. Eustace kicked back, just to get further away to load another shot into the rifle.

The Gnome loaded another shot. The bear was upon him now with one arm in the air, ready to strike but leaving his underside entirely exposed. Eustace fired, hitting the bear straight in the gut. The wounded animal jumped back, and hit the floor, unconscious. Eustace got up, holding his emptied eye socket with his hand. He walked over to the tent, to find his father's fate of blood and guts. Eustace took a cloth, wrapping his eye socket with it.

Eustace walked over to the bear, seeing that he was still breathing, loaded another solid shot into the rifle, and fired into the bear's skull, ultimately killing him. The tired Gnome buried his father next to the tent, but left the bear to rot.

He then went, and worked on a farm. Eustace had loved the company he had there. All the animals, and the Owner of the farm, and the Owner's wife. Both showed the most hospitality to him. During his stay, Eustace had befriended an orange cat, now named Tibbers. he would stay and play with the animal after his jobs were done.

But his Owner's wife had died of old age, and the Owner was sick. Eustace had hired a person to care for the sick Owner, and had said his good-byes, taking with him only his dignity, memories, and Tibbers.

Eustace now spends a lot of time around Inns and Taverns drinking with his friends and his young companion, Tibbers the orange cat.

Facts about Eustace Scattershot: With Eustace's natural love of creation and destruction, he took up the careers of blacksmithing, and engineering.

At the age of 40, Eustace took up the name Eustace Scattershot, due to his natural skill with guns.

Eustace uses several things so fill in his eye-socket. His favorite is his glass-eye.
