Appearance

Esmeralda tends to wear dark robes or other fancy things. She often has thick bags under her eyes when not doing anything about it. But she can easily mask this with some kind of make-up when she needs to go to an important event.

Personality

Behaves modest in general, but other than that feels like she's better than the people she interacts with anyways. The only people she respects are the one who display the power they have, and prove they are stronger than her. She is greedy for knowledge and more power. Her goals are to achieve status above others, to gain respect. Preferably through the least effort required.

She tends to get really inpatient when people make her wait, Esmeralda herself tends to be punctual and right on time when it comes to appointments. And she expects people to do as they promised. Other than that, she is obsessive with the way she looks when attending some kind of formal event. Due to her youth and being taught all the things a noble should know, it got stuck in her head. It's hard for her to let go of those things.

History

Born to a noble family. Esmeralda was raised as a lady. Every day was full of lessons about etiquette, proper wording and other rules. She was rather obedient to her parents who wanted her to do this. Sadly, Esmeralda didn't feel like doing this for the rest of her life. At the age of seventeen she was already being made fun off by other girls who had a similar situation like hers, children of nobles.

This didn't exactly sit well with Esmeralda. In a mere month of the harassment she started plotting revenge. Turning to the darker powers Azeroth had to offer. She had heard stories about the Slaughtered Lamb from one of her uncles. One of the family members her parents didn't really want her to be spending time with, this was something she did merely to get on their nerves ofcourse. Her uncle always seemed rather distracted at the family meetings they had. Eventually he told her of the underground scheming taking place there. Without shame she went to find this out for herself on a random day, this probably wasn't the best choice as few of the higher-ups there were torturing an apprentice who knew too much.

With her parents uninformed and all on her own, a similar fate awaited Esmeralda. For several days they interrogated her in the hopes to get knowledge from her. It was all a blur to her. At one point she was offered to join them, to live a new life.

Esmeralda accepted this offer without hesitation. With promises of power and knowledge in the demonic forces, she would be able to do anything she wished. In secrecy Esmeralda followed lessons at night. After all, her parents were too occupied with their own little world. All the parties to attend to and with the war to recoup from.

Over time she obtained the knowledge and reagents to summon several demons. Like always, an imp was the first thing she was taught to summon. The little thing didn't appear like much. But it's destructive fireballs amazed her. Only encouraging her to delve further into all of the dark arts. She went forward in leaps and bounds. After several months also getting a Voidwalker under control followed by a Succubus.

With this knowledge, she grew full of her own powers and stuck in her own thoughts by now. The friends who harassed her continued ever still. Now it was enough however, with revenge on her mind and now at the age of 21 she took care of it all at some celebration thrown by Eduward. One of the guys who had earned some kind of high-title in Stormwind. It was celebrated in Elwynn. A small party.. At this place, with the voidwalker with her she killed the five friends who had ridiculed her for so long. Some mad warlock was blamed as she herself had escaped to Duskwood. Abandoning her inheritance and family.
