Usual Garments/Armor: It is a rare occurrence to see Erohis in anything but armour. The mail armour she wears is green and brown, allowing for her to blend in to any outdoors environment with little effort. It appears well-kept and subtle in design. A thick burnt orange cloak is typically draped over her shoulders in cooler climates. Attached to the right hip of her armour is a satchel-like compartment.

Personality

Erohis has a serious and even cold demeanor, her general attitude relaxed but stern. For what she lacks in patience, she makes up for in self-control. Sarcasm is a popular language tool of hers when dealing with anyone that may frustrate her. Obedient and dependent, Erohis would be at a loss with herself if she did not have orders to follow or plans in place. While this makes her a good soldier, she fails to trust her own judgement when her opinion is countered by another person.

She is claustrophobic and avoids traveling via boats whenever possible. The woman almost despises physical contact, straying away from forming lasting friendships with individuals. Hugs are typically met with disapproving glares, silence, and a stiff body in the person's arms. She values responsibility, respect, and honesty. Trust is something she believes is meant to be genuinely earned rather than expected from her.

History

Erohis Sunfeather was born and raised in a family that was the result of two very different people falling in love. Her mother was a lower-ranked Farstrider, serving a courier for the organization while her father was a wealthy man who descended from a lineage of falconers. While her mother was a busy woman who was almost always working, Erohis's father was a relaxed man who spent the entire day at leisure. Her childhood consisted of long hours training under one or the other, least often her father despite having the free time to do such if he pleased. While her mother raised her with discipline, her father had encouraged her to think for herself and grow to become an independent person. Her father’s words failed to sink in to Erohis’s mind.

With the majority of her life being lived in the sheltering walls of Quel'Thalas, Erohis had little relations with any race besides her own. The First War was rarely spoken about in her household, but when the Second War occurred seven years later, her mother left to aid the Alliance in any manner she could as an archer. Concerned for his wife’s safety, her father began to give Erohis more attention than he ever had before. Erohis had more time to be spent with her father during this period. Her passion for falconry budded during this time with him while she did not participate in the war due to her lack of developed combatant skills.

When the Lich King Arthas reaped terror and chaos through Quel’Thalas, Erohis had in fear hidden herself in a cupboard, waiting for the Scourge to pass. She was slim enough to barely fit, though the closed quarters made her feel as though she were suffocating, unable to fully expand her lungs and breathe. Hours of hiding in a fetal position to fit as tightly as possible like this caused her to develop claustrophobia. She felt ashamed of herself for hiding in the time of danger. Her father perished in the Scourge attack as did many of her relatives excluding an uncle on her father’s side of the family. As soon as the Scourge forces began to ebb and a terrible silence fell upon most of Quel’Thalas, Erohis escaped from the cupboard and made her way to the nation’s capital, Silvermoon City. She helped provide relief however possible and in the process developed fine first aid skills.

Erohis’s mother returned from her station to console her when the decision came to consume fel as an alternative source of magic and taking up the name and ideals of a blood elf. While the idea did not set well with Erohis, her mother’s choice greatly influenced her own. Joining the forces of the Horde further discomforted her. She had unvoiced opinions on the sudden change of sides; those opinions being that the humans who called themselves allies had turned their backs on the high elves in their greatest time of need, as well as an uncertainty of who the real traitors were – high elves who abandoned their own race for what might be honour, or blood elves who fell to terrible and desperate measures to survive? Erohis made no effort to show her concern for the turn of events and chose to silently follow her mother’s example.

Her mother shortly after traveled to the Outland and served the Shattered Sun Offensive, breaking contact with the Farstriders she was previously affiliated with. Erohis parted ways with her mother reluctantly and in the continuing years found herself without an occupation. Her interest in cartography was sparked during this time when she encountered a traveling goblin merchant trying with all of his might to sell maps of Kalimdor to Erohis. She eventually succumbed and bought the maps. The news later arrived to Erohis that her mother had died, no doubt due to her dangerous occupation. Following her new interest which served as a distraction from the loss Erohis experienced, she began to spend long days learning on her own how to properly map regions, starting with Eversong Forest. Eventually, Erohis developed the courage and interest to travel outside of Quel’Thalas on occasion to try her hand at mapping other regions of the world.

Despite and possibly attributed to the absence of her father, she continues to practice falconry. One evening, Erohis found the owl she was working to suddenly have disappeared. She questioned multiple strangers to hunt down the owl with no success until one had admitted to having had spotted the bird. The two quickly retrieved the owl and Erohis joined the organization the stranger had shortly after formed, deciding that she owed him for his help. Her range around the world expanded when she joined the organization called Dawn's Reach, prompting her to spend more time in neutral areas for business purposes. She now diligently works for Dawn's Reach whenever an assignment arises.
