Appearance

Elena tends to don simply clothing, more often than not in the colour of the Stormwind – Blue. She is rarely seen in robes or dresses, only special occasions lure her to wear such clothing for they hamper movement rather vastly. Atleast in her opinion. Depending on the circumstances, she is either seen with a sword or a staff. The latter is adorned with bones which can be used to fuel her spells. She rarely wears that, seeing as it would be quite... a blunt statement that she is a necromancer. It would be idiotic to reveal that to everyone.

Other: A pouch to her belt and (usually) a backpack on her. The latter was made out of leather and sealed close with a simple, thin rope. Nostril piercing through her left nostril, a lapis lazuli. A vertical labret through her lower lip, in the centre. Tongue-piercing through the centre of her tongue, a metallic barble. A lilly was tattood on the right side of her neck. Oh, and due to the art of necromancy, her skin had begun becoming rather pale. Corresponding to a nickname of hers.

Personality

Elena would come off as a rather cool-minded and calm individual. She rarely raises her voice and calmly explains matters which are at hand, grasping the situation entirely and seeking for the benefits and disadvantages. Wit, intelligence and understanding humanoid emotions, knowing how to drag someone on her side often work in her favour. She enjoys manipulating someone at times, the play of the mind is truly a grand display of one's abilities. Her view on life can be rather morally questionable. Undeath and life are rather great topics to her and if the matter comes up, she enjoys a great discussion about it, arguing about whether unlife is similar to slavery or not... Such matters are naturally interesting to her as it was the reason why she picked up necromancy – a fascination for life and unlife.

Her actions and reactions are calculated unless matters greatly affect her on an emotional basis – She is a human and not a robot and as such will display a myriad of emotions, depending on what she deals with, what mood she is in and so forth... As mentioned above, she is a deeply spiritual person with hints to philosophy – She enjoys ramblings about such topics and will gladly take part in such conversations.

Her views are quite mixed – She perceives her own race as sometimes foolish and reckless, destructive. It really depends on the individual to see whether they have potential or not. Gnomes are seen with a similar view... except that she can't take them seriously. She sees them as jokes – too short dwarves without fat or muscle with a hint of insanity. Dwarves are seen as boisterous brawlers, too simple-minded... atleast to what she has seen. Save for the Wildhammers, she has a fascination for them and their ways, the shamanistic barbarians... Interesting specimen, to her. Night Elves are perceived with an odd fascination aswell – mostly due to their natural ways and their views which often conflict with her own. Though, she does not dislike them but rather enjoys discussions with them. Draenei are seen as slightly stuck-up. Mostly due to their views on the Naaru, the light, their morality system and their stance on Necromancy.

Undeads are perceived with fascination, their nature and their very beings are mysterious and rather interesting to observe, seeing them as free-willed slaves. An odd thing, really but that is just her view... Orcs are curious things – Elena enjoys observing their pyremasters and studying their kind, lashed and enslaved by the legion in the past. Trolls are -very- mysterious beings to her, she has seen their savagery and yet she does believe that they are capable of more – they must have a culture and spiritual views somewhere. She must seek them out one day, only to talk. Her views on the Tauren are similar to her views on the Night Elves, save for a few differencies and whatnot. Sin'dorei are curious cases aswell – willingly taking fel and then repelling the Legion in the Sunwell. Odd. She neither dislikes or likes them, a fairly neutral view on these Elven beings. It might be worth to mention that she absolutely hates the Burning Legion and Warlocks.

History

Elena was born into a family of mages on the island of Kul Tiras. Her father was an evoker and her mother a sorceress, a great mixture, really. She had a elder sister, three years older than her. However, she decided not to study magic and instead took up the path of a seamstress. Her childhood was fairly uneventful – going to school, meeting friends and taking up the very first steps of the Arcane. Occasionally, she was found in her neighbour's house, simply to observe her dying neighbour – She had a good relation to him and aided him during the process and due to this, her fascination for life was brought forward. She honed her magical abilities during her teenage years and chose a specialisation – Cryomancy. Approvingly, her father and mother watched her prowess with the Arcane, if they were not too busy with their own dealings. Additionally, she picked up several books regarding biology, philosophy and other things – some recommended to her by her elder sister. She also taught her the basic steps of making clothing.

Shortly after she had become fully adult, her neighbour finally passed and found a way out of this world. She was rather heavily affected by that – however, instead of mourning, she found it fascinating to imagine what was awaiting in the afterlife. Truly, her life wasn't -all- that eventful to this point, studies dominated her life to furthermore increase her dealings with the Arcane, sharpening her mind and wit, becoming better with in her Cryomancy. As the Second War brought out, her parents denied their daughter to charge into battle with the fleets of Kul Tiras and as such, she remained on the island, waiting for the war to end. Her mother however, went with the armies of Kul Tiras and into battle – She ended up with almost each and every bone in her body broken due to an ogre which decided to beat her to pulp with his fists. No word was heard of her death and as such, Elena thought she had settled herself down on the mainlands to simply gain some rest, off studies and her husband. Ah, what a naive girl, she was...

Regardless, more time passed and she continued her previous ways, picking up more and more books about biology and having discussions with other beings of intellect – mostly philosophical ones in where she could ramble about her thoughts of life and such. During that time, she also honed her skills in the making of clothes and soon was able to do so on her own – Without the help of her elder sister. She also enjoyed being a rabble-rouser, displaying and showing her views on life and such to others. Mostly to younger people, since they were easier to convince...

With the third war breaking out, Elena's skills were required and she was send on a ship in order to aid Lordaeron. Funnily enough, she never arrived since the ship was called back and she had to remain home until a certain lady with the name of Proudmoore decided to take half the fleet and pick up arms to sail towards Kalimdor, westwards. Within the progress of the war, she arrived at Kalimdor and fought several battles with orcs – settling down in Stonetalon Peaks temporarily before the alliance with the Orcs and Tauren was forged, fighting alongside them. With time passing, the final battle of Hyjal was finally at hand. Reckless combat, battling demons and Undead alike. Despite all this, she managed to get a fascination for the undead beings, how they were mere puppets to the necromancers and their will. With the war ending due to Archimonde's demise, Theramore was created and Elena settled down there, if only for a tiny tad of time.

Her fascination about unlife and life finally made her do a certain decision – She decided to begin to seek out shady dealings and received more informations about possible mentors who taught the arts of necromancy. These travels brought her to several goblin cities due to their... acceptance in regards of shady, immoral paths if one had enough money. Eventually... she found a mentor and convinced him to train her – She picked up the path of necromancy and learned how to animate the bones of the dead. Playing with life at her whim.

Naturally, this art did take some time to learn and took several years before she mastered it. Just before the war in the north began. Nonetheless, she couldn't quite join them anymore, too long has it been that she was gone... Most would distrust her. She occasionally sent letters home but beyond that, not much was done to keep contact. Instead, she decided to look for more books which would aid her in the arts of necromancy. Until this day.
