Nickname(s): Eddie

Race: Forsaken

Class: Warmage

Age: 34

Hair: Eddie's hair is a sickly green color and is short and balding. Looks as if it has never been brushed. Ever.

Eyes: Glows a bright yellow

Weight: 135 lbs.

Height: 5' 4" when standing straight (which he rarely does). 5' when he is hunched.

Skills and Abilities: Edgar is quite formidable in the Arcane. His specialty is Abjuration, creating massive shields of Arcane energy to protect himself and his allies against attacks. Edgar can handle himself well in battle, using a single-handed sword to good ability.

Appearance

Eddie usually wears the same garments every day. He wears a long, torn and dirty robe which hangs loosely around his form. On his feet he wears brown shoes with holes in the end, so his rotten feet hang out of them. He usually wears a pair of purple, silk gloves. These are also tattered. These clothes were also the clothes he died in.

Other: Edgar's jaw was torn from his face shortly after being risen from the dead. This has now been replaced by a metal jaw made of scraps of various types of metals.

Eddie also has a gaping hole in his right cheek, which makes it very hard to drink anything at all.

Personality

Alignment: Neutral

Edgar is often described as a joker. He loves to make crude and, often witty remarks about people. Anyone at all, in fact. His joking nature makes him more liked than hated in society.

Eddie is fairly studious when it comes to his arcane interests, but he will leave his studies for any sort of amusement. Though, when he is left alone, he may study for hours on end, practicing spell after spell until he has accomplished his goal. This is the same with anything Eddie does. He tries his hardest in every situation, good at it or not. Eddie cares little for any other race besides his own. Though, he will befriend another if it is necessary, except, that is, for Humans. His hatred for the Human race as a whole has grown since his death, even with the fact that he was Human before.

History

Edgar Barlton was an intelligent child, mastering speech and movement earlier than most children his age. His family was a loving, caring family of four. His mother, Cathryn. His father, Edgar senior, and his brother, Alexander. Edgar's mother, Cathryn, was an arcanist of medium skill and soon became Edgar's instructor in the arcane arts. Cathryn was a good teacher, and treated Edgar with respect. Not only as a son, but as a student.

Years passed in a blink of an eye. Edgar became far more skilled than his mother and set off from their home in Hillsbrad to seek better training in the arcane arts. Traveling day and night, he finally set foot before the magical city that is Dalaran. Edgar was ecstatic as he moved through the doors of the city, amazed by the number of mages there were around him, and, above all, tired from his long trip to the city. He had used the gold his family had given him to rent a room at a local inn, but, he couldn't sleep! He was far too excited about his enrollment in a small group of mages that called themselves the Flaming. The group was led by an elderly arcanist by the name of Draylin Rayford, and was simply a group of students who were taken in by Rayford to learn more advanced spells, enchantments, incantations and anything of the like.

Edgar attended the first few classes and absolutely loved it. He progressed quickly and soon had surpassed his peers. Soon after leaving the study group of the Flaming, he had fled Dalaran during the invasion of the Burning Legion. Sadly, he was killed by a demon scouting party not too far from the city's walls.

Edgar began his life as one of the Forsaken after being summoned back from the icy clutch of death. He served the Dark Lady as best he could, though being out-of-practice. He re-started his studies and went on with his old life, continuing to pursue his goal of becoming a master arcanist, even though he was now, Undead.

After being trained to the best of his ability in the Arcane, Edgar decided to venture out to find an instructor for combat. Preferably combat with a blade. He found a Forsaken willing to teach him and they went at it for a long while. Edgar wasn't very good at all in the first few months, but managed to become well-rounded in his combat skills by the end. He used his skills with a blade and became a Warmage.
