Player: PvtFrog

Character Full Name: Durgrim of the Black Tooth Grin.

Character In-Game Name: Durgrim

Nickname(s): Short stuff, That Angry Orc

Association(s): The Horde, Orgrimmar

Race: Orc

Class: Warrior/Berserker

Skills and Abilities: Durgrim has the abilities of an average warrior, although he has other skills as well.

Berserk: Durgrim loses himself to his rage, letting his most basic emotions guide him through the battle. This allows him to strike out with more strength behind the blow. This form does not come without it's drawbacks however, as Durgrim loses the ability to differentiate between his enemies and allies. Anything that comes within range of his two axes is automatically labelled as an "enemy". In this form, Durgrim's rage, mixed with all the adrenaline pumping through him, blocks out any pain he would feel. When this state ends however, the pain kicks in with a vengeance, as well as causing the orc to feel the setbacks of exhaustion.

Heedless Charge: Instead of carefully walking into the battle, Durgrim throws himself into the heat of the fray. While rushing forward, Durgrim will attempt to bullrush anything that stands in his way until he finally reaches an area that is deeply entrenched in battle.

Age: 65

Sex: Male

Hair: Black, pulled back into a ponytail that reaches the base of his neck.

Eyes: Red

Weight: 415lb

Height: 6'4

Usual Garments/Armor: Nearly always seen wearing a leather harness along with leather legguards and plate boots. Durgrim hardly changes, and it's obvious. His pants have spots of dried blood on it, and the harness seems to have seen years of wear and tear. His boots have lost most of their shine, now a dull copper color have dents on the toe area. The one thing he seems to actually take care of, is the wolf mask he's nearly always seen in, and his two axes.

Other: He's missing his upper right canine tooth along with the Black Tooth Grin's banner tattooed onto his back.

Alignment: Lawful good

Personality: Angry. This is the state that Durgrim finds himself in most of the time, whether it's over small trivial matters such as the color of the mug he was given, or over large serious matters. However, Durgrim's rage only ever reaches it's peak when three things are brought up. One, being his battle abilities, the second being his tendency to get angry over anything...and the last being his height. As seen from the condition his armor is in, Durgrim treats his possessions with very little care. Living under the motto "If it breaks, then it wasn't strong enough to last.", Durgrim will not go out of his way to show affection or to repair things. On the occasional case that he does show his more caring side, the acts are usually aggressive in some way such as patting someone on the back too hard, or headbutting as a form of affection. Durgrim was taught from a young age, that honor comes before anything and as such will go to extreme lengths to mantain his honor. If dishonored, he would literally try to move mountains if it was necessary of him to regain his lost honor.

History: Originally born into the Blackrock clan, Durgrim's childhood was a messy one. His father was a proud and sturdy warrior, and already had high expectations for his first son. He would often impose harsh trainings on his son, stating that if he couldn't surpass him then he was not fit to fight for the clan. As the years passed, it seemed as if Durgrim might finally live up to his father's expectations. However, his dreams were quickly shattered as he witnessed his son's potential for destruction. One of the children in the village had made fun of Durgrim's height, which prompted the young orc to fly into a rage and start to beat down on the other orc. The fight was quickly stopped, with his father now dissapointed in his son. As Durgrim came of age, it was obvious that his abilities was of use to the clan. It was also near this time, that the young orc found someone who could manage to hold him down when he flew into a rage. The Bonecrusher Durrak, as the two managed to become friends despite the conditions they were in.

Durgrim attended the initial assault on Shattrath, flying into a rage as he began to kill anything that came within axe-range. It was during this battle that his clanmates realized that quite literally anything, that came within range of him, was an enemy while he was in that state. He was quickly subdued by several orcs and dragged off before he could injure more allies. He spent a majority of the First War kept away in his village as the village elders tried to keep him calm and teach him how to harness his rage. The training failed however, as his anger just came back even worse than before. When Blackhand was killed, he was torn between staying loyal to his old clan, or place his bets in with Rend and Maim. He sided with the two brothers, as he figured Blackhand's sons would carry on in their father's foosteps. He was sent with a small squadron of clanmates into Azeroth as scouts. Their mission failed, as they walked into a trap and were quickly imprisoned. Years passed, as rumors that the Horde had lost the war on Draenor. Durgrim despaired, as he fretted over what would've happened to his family. Years passed, as he fell into a legarthy and his rage died down to a small portion of what it once was. Then Thrall came, freeing the orcs from the camps. Durgrim was freed as well, quickly giving his allegience to the new Warcheif.

When the Third War happened, Durgrim was stationed to keep the demons at bay while they tried to buy time. It was at this moment, that his rage came back with full force. He started to chop at the waves of demons, his world slowly becoming a red-tinged blur. When it finally passed, he found the other orcs backed away from him, staring at him with suspicious stares and glances. Orgrimmar was then founded shortly after the war, with Durgrim residing there and occasionally taking trips back to Outland in a fruitless search for his lost family and clan members whenever he feels like it.
