History

Dubuk of the Shadowmoon Clan was born on Draenor, at a time when the world had almost been completely destroyed by war. At the age of 12 he was exposed to the life-draining magics of the warlocks in preparation for the crossing through the Dark Portal. Having been trained in combat since what many would consider a far too young age, Dubuk had now been robbed not only of his childhood but also his teenage years. Considered an adult now, he gripped his axe and followed his kin into the ripe world of Azeroth to engage in what would become the bloody campaign against the kingdom of Stormwind.

Dubuk saw a lot of combat action in both the First War as well as in the Second. In the conclusion of the latter, he was captured and placed in an internment camp along with many of his brothers-in-arms. Here he watched the proud warriors he had stood side by side with on many fields of battle languish and crumble. Suffering from the withdrawal caused by the sudden lack of fel one by one they all began to slip into apathy and depression. It took the son of Durotan's rescueing and promise of redemption to convince them to rally behind him and his New Horde. Once again, Dubuk took up his axe and pledged his loyalty to the new Warchief.

Back in his right element, Dubuk learned of the new-old ways of his once shamanistic people and took in as much as possible. Although no longer controlled by the demonic bloodlust he was used to, he still hungered for battle. After many conflicts, including the defeat of Daelin Proudmoore as well as the battle of Mount Hyjal, Dubuk has now once again returned to active duty. He dreams of a glorious death on the field of battle, and as he fixes his gaze on the frozen continent of Northrend he hopes it won't dissapoint him.
