Personality

Driznen is less tolerant of the younger races than many of his kin, particularly the humans from what he has heard and the little he has observed. He finds them to be, above the rest, far too ambitious for their own good when concerning magic and the progress of society at nature's expense via the importance placed on inventing and military strength, and the decrease in awareness of nature's wellbeing and preservation.

History

Driznen, born long after the Sundering, grew up in Northern Kalimdor in relative peace. His father, an experienced Druid, was not around for his birth as he was sleeping deeply in Emerald Dream. His mother however was very proud, especially since Driznen was born with Ember colored eyes, often taken as the sign of great potential (though this had been becoming more frequent with other children as well.)

As was customary at the time, Driznen was trained to be a druid from a very young age, learning the natural rise and ebb of the tides of balance found deep with nature. He excelled quickly at his learning, and soon was walking through wood and grove simply to see and feel the many examples of balance that are myriad if one knows were to look. Much of his free time was spent in this manner, his enjoyment in nature is what allowed him to learn and advance as fast as he did.

As Driznen grew wiser in the ways of the natural order of things, he began to seclude himself in the forest for weeks at a time. More than once Driznen observed the forests predators consume the prey, and very rarely did he act to the contrary, as it is not a druids place to interfere with the natural order of things if they are within the balance.

On the fourth day of one of his common seclusions, he observed a band of corrupted Furbolgs kill and skin a Nightsaber before dragging it back it the tribal grounds. Not far from the hunting grounds were the Nightsaber was slain, her three kittens remain frolicking not far from their den. Driznen knew of these cubs as he often enjoyed watching them and their mother play and survive through sheer instinct and the mother's state of constant awareness. A forest bear chanced upon the kits and trampled two of them down, allowing the third to continue its flight. After three days Driznen could watch no longer as the cub slowly died from starvation.

The Kaldorei caught a few fish and fed them to the kit, which was too weak to resist the Druid. Driznen brought the kit food often and nurtured it to health and a prime age. When the cat, which was male, challenged another male cat for mating rights, he was ill prepared for its opponent, who had grown up learning to fend for its self. The Nightsaber Driznen had saved, and grown deeply attached to, was wounded mortally and died from its wounds.

Driznen was filled with anger at the other saber, but understood that it was the natural order, and he was providing no real aid by interfering, even to save the life of the dyeing kitten. This opened his eyes to inevitability of nature's constant balancing of the world.

A few years later Driznen entered the Emerald Dream and walked the ethereal plains, further learning the way of the Druid.

Many years later he was awakened along with his kin and his father to combat the threat of Archimonde. Having no time for a much desired reunion, both Driznen and his father made all haste to Mount Hyjal. After many had fallen, Archimonde was defeated. With the tragic yet, noble decision to sacrifice their own immortality to rid themselves of the demon, Driznen had felt one of the worst loses he thought imaginable, but there was far worse to be felt. Afterwards, Driznen found his father's ravaged body among the dead, and his mother's lying beside it, she appeared to be reaching for an embrace (though he knew she was most likely casting a powerful healing spell).

The lone Kaldorei fought against the decision to plant a new world tree, though in the end Teldrassil was planted anyway, despite the fact it was unadorned by the blessing of the higher beings. This has caused much though regarding his people, as he thinks that this might be the beginning of a corruption, the likes of which has not been seen in the Kaldorei since the Sundering.

Driznen aided plague victims in the cities on the very edge of the Alliance's territories, never venturing very far into any of the human's main settlements. When the second plague hit, Driznen did rush to the aid of his allies, fearing that this time the plague would over take the lesser race. When the humans survived and he was showed the fool of this ordeal, he decided to learn more of this determined race he had heard so many negative things about.

Driznen searches for a measure wisdom in the vigorously ambitious race of Humans, and seeks to meet a Tauren whom they are connect with through the Cenarion Circle. Driznen has set out on a quest of exploration of his allies and his enemies, now questioning the very knowledge that he swore by when he was younger.
