To put it simple: Peaceful. Unlike the majority of the Blood Elven population, who are arrogant and uptight, Dranarus is a calm man with no great expectations in life. He loves his fellow men and women whether they be Human, Orc, or Gnomes. He is though forced - by race - to serve the Blood Elves in their troubles, and will do so if need be.

Dranarus spends most of his spare time either adventuring to new territory or relaxing out in the woods of Eversong. He has a deep care for wilderness and his homeland, protecting it without question.

As a Rogue, he has a strange, almost addictive interest toward new or innovative poisons and herbs. He spends his free time - in Eversong - brewing new or old poisons. Usually applying them to an arrow head for future use.

He has absolutely no hatred toward the Alliance, he will not attack or kill anybody he doesn't have to. He will only attack Scourge or Demons unprovoked.

History

Dranarus was born in the quiet, serene forests of Quel'thalas. His father was a profound hunter and his mother a caring housewife.Over the years, his father would teach him how to use a bow, in hopes that he will carry on his legacy. But he would do much more then that in the future. After many years of peace, Dranarus bought his own home and would hunt for food and herbs to use in his many potions and poisons. He was taught about poisons by a local street merchant who was proficient in herbs. Simple curiosity was the cause of his strange interests. After much trial and error, he became more and more experienced in poison brewing after each day.

His father wanted him to join an organization called the Farstriders. Those who protected Quel'thalas from the dangers of the outside world. Dranarus refused at first, but figured learning to be proficient with his bow and maybe learn some new tactics wouldn't hurt. It was a few years after the Second War that he decided to join the Farstriders.

The training was long, vigorous and taxing on his health. Long dark nights in the woods living off scraps and constant target practice was hard on his body, but sharp for his mind. He learned tactics that some can only hope to master. Guerilla fighting techniques, the art of stealth and traversing the wilderness with great speed. But training has it's rewards. And his reward was working with some of the greatest rangers in Elven history.

Then the day came...

The day the Scourge arrived. Word spread fast, including to Dranarus. Without hesitation, he grabbed his bow and a large stash of special poisons and potions. He was prepared for a war. But he didn't get it. What he got was a massacre.

Bodies of his friends and allies littered the streets and forests. His squad of Farstriders essentially wiped out. But he was the lucky one. Wounded, battered and bloody, he lay in the street. Surrounded by his comrades. The ravaging undead searching for survivours, his last option was a risky one. Rustling through his satchel, he pulled out a vial of potent poison and consumed it. He falls back, eyes dimming.

What he consumed was his experimental concoction, a type of mind-numbing poison that causes the person to fall into a sort of coma. He prayed the undead would just pass over him as just another corpse.

He awoke in an empty street, littered in corpses. His luck was astounding to say the least. He pulled himself up, limping from his wounds to the nearest safe spot. He found a group of survivours, who took him to a nearby Farstrider encampment. They treated his wounds and let him rest, as the Scourge soon left Quel'thalas.

As Prince Kael'thas took his people south to find help, Dranarus, was one of the people to stay to protect his ravaged homeland. A year without the Sunwell. A horrible experience for everybody. Including Dranarus. Just when the last light of hope was closing for his people. A squad of elves returned. They taught their people how to absorb Fel magic. Disturbed by the change in eye color of the squad of Blood Elves, Dranarus was very cautious about absorbing the tainted magic. But with no other cure in sight. It was his only choice.

Two years later. The mighty city of Silvermoon was rebuild nearly overnight by the elven magistrates.Dranarus had left the Farstriders in search for a more peaceful life in the wild of his homeland.

Years later. News erupts the Blood Elven community of the renewed Sunwell. The sensation of burning veins and overwhelming power was soon soothed by the Sunwell. The boost of moral within the elven race caused Dranarus to take up the bow again in search for adventure. He offers his expertise from the Farstriders for a fee. Whether it be assassination, escorts, or just protection.

This brings this story to the present day.
