Personality

Dalari is a cocky bugger, always bragging and saying his name. He is convinced that his name will live on through the ages as the greatest Paladin to ever live. He will claim his title to all around him and if he wins a fight, he will state that all kneel before his might one time or another. Though he can be rude on the outside, he is kind of like bread that you put in the oven to heat up (Hehe), hard of the outisde, gentle, soft, and warm on the inside!

History

Dalari was born to a family of four, to a middle-class family. Being the younger of the two brothers, he was treated better by their parents although if asked they would not admit to it.

From an early age, he showed potential as a warrior and was sent to receive training as soon as he reached the required age. His life in the sanctum where he studied and practiced was not one of peace, love, and companionship among peers, rather one paved with blood. He would often challenge the other students to armed combat and the battles always ended in blood. His brother Raydregel would be supportive of Dalari's fights and his constant wins, but he would also express a need to see Dalar lose once in a while.

When he reached the age of 29, Dalari immediately left Quel'Thalas to try his hand at defeating those outside of his school. He first traveled to Lordaeron, where he got in trouble with a band of humans which chased him back to his home city. There, he was annoyed by his brother until he swallowed his pride and went to apologize to the group. From then on, he swore he'd become the greatest fighter to ever live.

When Quel'Thalas was attacked, Dalari was not in the city... Rather, he was off in the outskirts, training with his brother when they heard the clash of combat. Seeing the scourge, they fled out of fear and a desire to save themselves.

A few days after they escaped, Dalari noticed that his hunger for magic was growing, and he searched with his brother (who was worse off than him) for a fix to this issue. They happened upon a group of Elven survivors that had been leaching off of Fel blood and crystals. Dalari and Raydregel were astonished and disgusted, but they could not ignore the lust for magic anymore. During his time with his fellow elves, he learned of the Light: A faith which accepted all people, even those in their darkest times.

He learned the Light from one of the survivors, an elf who called himself a 'Blood Knight', whatever that was. With this knowledge, he -knew- his power would grow immensely. But even with the aid of his mentor, he could not channel the Light efficiently. It would seem to him something was troubling his mind, and therefor interfering with his ability to call upon the Light to aid him. His Fel addiction was in the way, and his mind must be set straight.

Dalari, ashamed of himself, ditched his brother and the survivors to hide his shame. He got angry at the crystals and vowed to over-come his addiction. It was not easy, in-fact it took until the restoration of the Sunwell and his faith in the Light.. but his will was too strong. Dalari was able to do it and keep his faith in the Light along with his dignity, but only thanks to his stubborn attitude towards change. He got himself of the Fel substance and congratulated himself on not only quitting his addiction, but getting lost! He searched and searched until he came upon an inn, where he got direction to the nearest port and from there, he headed to an arena that he heard of... Gurubashi.

Finding himself in the arena, he approached the closest combatant and asked for a spar, which he won just barely. Liking the feel of the place, and feeling his need to use the Light grow inside him, he decided to stay in this strange place run by goblins. He remains there to this day, proving himself to the world, and his vow. "I -will- be the greatest".

Skills and Abilities

Light Blast: Dalari gathers the Crimson Light at his palms and either shoots it off at an opponent, or places his palms on the opponent and forces it into them

Light Bolt: Dalari pushes the Crimson Light into his weapon and gathers it at the tip until it is a ball of adequate size, and fires it at his opponent.

Basic Holy Light: Dalari has the basic ability of healing, as most Paladins do, but he is not as skilled in it as he is in combat so he does not know much other than heal bruises and minor cuts.

Dalari is skilled with close hand-to-hand combat, as well as fighting with his spear. He is of minor use with the sword, but it is not his weapon of choice.
