Personality

Bwoyar is your typical troll. He is hot-headed and very passionate about anything related to tribes, his lifestyle or anything related to the Loa. He is also extremely stubborn, preferring to do what he wants, rather than what is right. When the situation calls for it, Bwoyar can be quite vicious and cruel. Opposite to that, when deserving he can show kindness. Despite this, he has a great feeling of patriotism towards Zandalar and is even beginning to respect the Horde and the Darkspear Tribe.

Despite his hot-headedness, he tends to be a little more relaxed when surrounded by friendly trolls and just a little on edge with any other race. Having worked with them before, he has learned a little of their social norms, but seems to not care too much. He enjoys relaxing almost as much as he enjoys wandering a new jungle or hunting a new beast. His impotence has caused him to have a lower self-esteem. He tries to make up for this by being a stronger warrior and more patriotic than the typical troll.

Alignment: Neutral

History

Sasaya walked deep into the jungles of Zandalar. Birds and other creatures chirped with each step the young troll walked. He glanced up at the canopy and sighed. "It's going to be nightfall soon..." Sasaya hurried his pace. He must reach the waterfall before it becomes too dark. But it seemed the Loa were on his side today. He reached a cliff and below him, a small lake. To his right, the waterfall. He smirked as he charged the rocks by the waterfall, but he slipped. "Aiiii!" He yelped, before quickly going off the edge of the cliff. He grabbed at the cliff and managed to grasp a root, jutting from the cliffside. "That was close..."

He pulled himself back up, but before climbing up onto the cliff, he found himself face to face with a massive tiger. It simply sat there, growling at the young troll. Everytime he tried to climb further, it growled louder and swiped at him. The troll began to feel fear. He glanced down the cliff. "Quite the fall." He sighed, trying again and again to go around the tiger, but there was no way. Sasaya shut his eyes and with a deep breath, let go. SPLASH! When he next opened them, he was falling deeper into the lake, but he saw a glow. It was a troll, but not one he had ever seen before. It began to speak in a voice so horrifying and so glorious that Sasaya could hardly contain his excitement. And he saw.

He saw himself, a little older, a woman and several younglings. He held one of the children up. He was healthy, happy and strong. The boy grew right in front of his eyes and fought, argued with his brothers and sisters. He was never one to give up, after all. He had a belief and he stuck to it. For the Zandalar. Sasaya was proud and happy as a witch doctor could be. The boy was a quick learner and soon picked up a bit of the alchemy. Not long after, still only a child, they set off for their first hunt in the deep jungles of Zandalar. They must learn themselves, to track, to hunt and to kill. Sasaya watched them struggle for days. The weaker of his children falling ill and dying. Until, the strongest boy managed to catch a large, lone gorilla. The three children left, managed to kill it and had a mighty feast, celebrating their victory. The boy was tough and, even though he fought and argued with his siblings, still had time to mourn for those who passed.

He watched his son grow into an excellent spear thrower. He practiced constantly. His aim surprised Sasaya, but that was to be expected from this determined boy. He was still so young and was more than capable to join the ranks of the Zandalari warriors. But he was not yet ready. He spent his days hunting, bringing food for Sasaya and his mates. He grew strong in those jungles. His size rivaling one of the pure Zandalar trolls. It was not long, before he began to want women. A big, strong headhunter such as the boy, would sire many strong children for the Zandalar. And so, the boy found himself many mates, but was unable to sire any children. Although the boy wished his mates well, he regretted being unable to produce children. It would be a devil, whispering his impotence into his ear for the rest of his life. Despite this, he continued on, finding mates for simple amusement. Only a few years passed before he traveled to Zuldazar, the capital of Zandalar to join the military as a headhunter.

His good sight, strength and speed helped him to survive in the military. They were quite brutal in their training and he was unused to the brutality, much preferring the solitary work in the jungles. But, he was granted a name upon showing his skills to his higher-ups. Bwoyar. He watched his son perform admirably in the military for the a few years. Bwoyar stayed on Zandalar, until they found out troubling news about the mainland.

A creature, so evil and so powerful took command of the Gurubashi. The Gurubashi were being sacrificed to this creature to appease its wrath and to give it power. The Soulflayer, it was called and the Zandalar would not let their brethren fall to such a creature. And just as Sasaya had expected form his son, Bwoyar charged with the armies of Zandalar to Zul'gurub. They recruited the heroes of this land, strange creatures some of them were, but with their aid, Hakkar the Soulflayer was deposed of. Sasaya shared the pain of a rip in his son's lip and the removal of an ear during these battles. The Atal'ai were fierce zealots. Fighting every fight with an insane hatred. Most of the Atal'ai were killed and Gurubashi was freed from their presence. As a precaution, a few of the priests and a small detachment of the military were left in the Vale. Hunt any Atal'ai and learn of these new creatures who aided them. Sasaya thought it was a strange request, but he did not doubt the knowledge of the priests. Bwoyar, was one left behind. He spent several months in Stranglethorn Vale and soon found himself in the presence of other, friendly, jungle trolls. The Darkspear Tribe. These jungle trolls were part of the Horde, a faction of the strange creatures who had helped the Zandalar. He felt... Honour-bound to offer his skills to them. Strange thing for a Zandalar to do, but Bwoyar had his beliefs.

He watched his son travel across the world with a group of Horde. He helped them hunt their enemies and they, in turn, provided knowledge and help in hunting the Atal'ai remnants. He found his son in a strange place. Hotter and more humid than the jungles, but very similar. He stood with a Darkspear and they talked. He spent many weeks in that crater, coating himself in the blood of the ravasaurs. Bwoyar was sick. But he got back up and continued this strange ritual. Eventually, he found himself an egg and, once it hatched, raised it. One of the poisonous creatures, who caused him sickness, was being raised by his son. Sasaya found it strange, his son was no longer sick from these creatures, but let it go. Bwoyar now had a companion as dangerous as he was.

His time with the Horde and the Darkspears turned him into a kinder being. Women were no longer objects to him, but possible allies. He continued to cannibalize, but only when he could get away with it. He still holds the Loa above any sort of elemental or divine magics. It was not long before Bwoyar and his ravasaur, left Un'goro and traveled around Kalimdor. Together, they managed to make quite an effective team. Upon returning to the Vale, Bwoyar continued with the duty he was charged with...

Sasaya woke up on the shore by the lake. The young troll blinked as he stood up. "Bwoyar..?" He watched the sun rise and with a back stretch, Sasaya bolted off into the jungle to return to his home.
