Lady Bruhara D'Argent is a 40-year-old Forsaken Apothecary. She is played by Jonoth.

History

Bruhara was born to a weathly noble family in Stormwind, her mother Ruthiva being a regarded poet who hoped to groom Bruhara for the life of a Lady. When Stormwind was sacked by the Orcs at the start of the First War, her family journeyed north with the survivors to Lordaeron, where not long after, Bruhara ran away from home. While enamored with her mother's ability to act and perform, she did not like the stern and often cold upbringing of a Lady. She found refuge in Brill with a farmer named Marcus. He took care of young Bruhara like a daughter, and she loved him dearly. As she grew older however, he became increasingly delusional, eventually leaving a teenaged Bruhara on her own with a locked box and a note saying "There are some things man was not meant for, and this is one. Keep this away from any prying eyes, especially your own."

Her own curiosity was piqued, and she took a hammer to the lock and found a book who's cover simply read "Fel". Inside were Marcus' notes on the practice of the dark arts, and Bruhara became a diligent student, wanting to both harness this mysterious power and find out what caused her father to go mad. With this power, Bruhara felt a new freedom she had never known, and soon forgot her original mission to help her father. She knew this power had to be wielded subtlely, and she kept it secret from the rest of the world, even from her eventual husband. She bore a single child, a girl they named Marcelle.

Bruhara started out small, using simple spells as well as gathering herbs and making potions from them, until she slowly started mastering both casting and alchemy. One day while out in the field, Bruhara conjured her first demon, a succubus. This act was seen by one of the villagers. Later on that same night, the villager returned with a few friends, frightened by what they called a dark cloud in their midst. They tied up Bruhara, her husband, and her daughter, and threw them into Brightwater Lake, but first branded an 'F' on her chest for Fel. All three drowned in the lake, and a couple months later came the plague.

When Bruhara awoke, she was covered in dirt, and clawed her way out. Amnesia took hold and she wasn't sure who she was, only that the graves next to her were her husband and daughter. What occurred next was a blur, only that she took part in much fighting, her magics felling many in combat. All the while her succubus kept an eye on her, having witnessed her death and growing increasingly concerned and obsessed with her mistress. The succubus would occassionally sway the odds in Bruhara's favor, tempting those who tried to destroy her with her skills in seduction and buying Bruhara time. Eventually Bruhara and many of the undead were set free by Sylvannas. Bruhara would stalk Tirisfal Glades, trying to remember her past, until she came to Brightwater Lake, where the memories rushed back. Kneeling to the ground, she swore to haunt the ones responsible, which in her eyes are all the living. Seeing them as reckless with the gift of life, she torments and makes them uncomfortable, taking joy in their corruption.

Friendly and chatty, Bruhara can be a master manipulator, hiding her disdain for the living until she finds the opportune time to corrupt. She learned about performance from her mother, using it to adapt to her environment. She enjoys the practice of her fel magic, particularly demonology, and is generally not shy about the use of it. She does understand first-hand what can happen when it becomes public knowledge, so she is careful to move through zones which may be more tolerant of warlock magic.

As a warlock, she is a basic demonologist, favoring the use of her succubus.
