History

Bormus was born before the first war, living in peace for the war never reached the Tauren. Aside from the constant centaur raids, there was little violence in his life. For the first twenty years of his life, he lived in a simple bliss with his people, fighting off the centaur's and keeping peace with nature. At the age of adulthood, he did as all Tauren do, go on his Great Hunt. As he brought down his Kodo, he felt accomplished and now a true member of his tribe.

This did not last, however, for he had to join his tribe in a larger battle with there hated enemy, the centaur. The fight was brutal, many fell on both sides. Bormus even had lost his staff and had resorted to using his fist with deadly power, earning him the name Hammerhand. But the fight did not leave him without scars, for he fell after a centaur slashed open the back of his legs. As the centaur was going to finish him, there was a gunshot and the centaur fell, followed by the sound of retreat as the rest fled.

He woke up in a tent with a healer above him, healing his wounded legs. "It's good to see you awake." He nods to the healer and asks what had happened. She looks away and explains that the fight was won due to another tribe arriving when they did, fending off the centaur and saving a lot of lives. Bormus smiled happily and when he was healed, he left the tent and saw in horror that it wasn't even close to his nightmares of nightmares. Bodies of both Tauren and centaur were sprawled around on the ground.

He helped with the burial ceremony, returning his brothers and sisters to the Earth Mother, but due to this fight, he was unsure of himself. He left, finding himself in the training of a traveling Runemaster. He spent 16 years learning the art, finding it to match who he really was. After the years of training, he left to find his tribe. Upon his return, he was shocked at what he had missed, his people had a home finally. On his way to Thunderbluff, he was welcomed by the other Tauren, happy to have another return.

This welcome was shot lived, however, for he was called upon to join the assault on the Lich Kings stronghold when he did get into the city. He fought at the gate, working with many others as a group of (Heroes) went up to his lair, eventually killing him. Soon after Fordragon donned the Helm of Domination, the undead Bormus fought stopped fighting back, and he knew the day was won. This, however, was a temporary victory for him, for he longed to return to a home. He now spends his time with the Rockhoof's, searching with them.

Skills and Abilities

Hammerhand: It isn't just a title. Bormus's strength mixed with the runes etched in his fists allow them to hit like rocks. Who need's a weapon anyway?

Speed-rune: Rune's etched in his arms increasing the speed of his punches.

Rune of Strength: A last resort, Bormus can, at the price of breaking bones to death, use his fists to bash through armor.

Stoneskin: At the price of reduced speed, Bormus has etched most of his body in the stone rune, creating a sort of armor-like skin. Where as slashing would still cut, blunt objects such as mace's won't harm him too much.
