Hair: Bodley has deep red (not ginger) hair which is about 2-3 inches long. It is usually not styled and tends to stay the way he wakes up with it throughout the day as Bodley doesn't really feel much need to look after it since it always finds a way of getting messy while tinkering and whatnot.

Eyes: His eyes are large and of a light green colour.

Weight: 43lb

Height: Exactly 3 feet tall.

Alignment: Neutral good.

Appearance

Usually, when in a town or city, Bodley will be seen wearing his overalls and his goggles. He is a tinker at heart and his apparel matches this. When out and about in a less secure location Bodley will most likely be wearing simple leather armour or clothing well suited to travel such as a hat and a jacket with loose fitting leggings and high quality boots. The location and situation that he is in will determine what sort of clothing he will opt to wear for the occasion.

Personality

Bodley is a fairly typical Gnome. He's a friendly chap and gets easily excited, especially about an idea for a new invention or pretty much any tinkering breakthrough. As friendly as Bodley is, he has a short temper on him and when riding around on his mekgineer's chopper, he is prone to getting bad road rage and will often make a scene of it through a hail of Gnomish profanity. Unlike most Gnomes, since the destruction of Gnomregan Bodley has felt an urge to travel and explore Azeroth. This interest in travel most likely stems from his incredibly curious nature. This has also leaded him to pursue a wide array of tinkering breakthroughs, some of which were successful and others that were not so.

Tinkering and his chopper are very much his life and his one true passion. He dedicates a lot of time to both of these things and it would be fair to say he was obsessive of them. He cannot handle his drink for toffee and will wipe out very quickly if he starts on the stuff. Like all Gnomes he has his quirks and has a peculiar fear of rabbits of any kind following an intense dream he had as a child which made the subject into a phobia.

Other: Bodley has a mekgineer's chopper which is his life. He can often be found tinkering with it, modifying it or tearing up the roads on it. He is obsessed with his ride and takes as much care of it as a reckless Gnome that suffers intense road rage possibly can.

History

Much like many of his kin, Bodley was born and bred in Gnomeregan. He grew up there, rarely visiting the world above him as the size and scale of it was something he had always found intimidating. Being surrounded by such technological wonders had always inspired Bodley. He was always so curious about 'what made this device tick' or 'How does this function and how can it be made better' that it isn't surprising he took up the engineering trade from a young age. He looked to his uncle for guidance and knowledge as he was an accomplished tinker himself and somewhat of an idol to Bodley. It wasn't long before Bodley was dreaming up all manner of technological marvels, some that would lead to successful ventures and others that were... not so successful, either way, Bodley was living the dream he had always had and did so right up until Gnomeregan was attacked.

Sitting alone in his uncle's workshop while tinkering with one of his more problematic devices, the assault began. The first Bodley knew of it was an immense echoing rumble, as if a distant wall was caving in. Bodley, having been born incredibly curious natured, left his workshop to investigate and was met with a brief interlude of silence. The rumble had stopped and only the whirring mechanisms of devices and gadgets could be heard until this was met by a new sound, the screams of dying and terrified Gnomes.

Suddenly, the walls surrounding him could be felt shaking much more violently than before and in moments the area was infested with troggs and desperate Gnomes running from the fate that awaited them. With this, Bodley ran back into his uncles workshop and grabbed his trusty Gnomish pen knife which was custom made with all manner of trinkets built into it and awoke his uncle. The pair of them then began trying to make their escape. The city and its wide and open passages that lead to the surface were an ocean of Gnomes running for their lives and troggs cutting them down. Bodley and his uncle decided they were far too dangerous and instead they decided to try to navigate their way around a network of maintenance access ways and passages that they hoped would take them right to the surface without leading them into the path of troggs; however they were not so lucky. A small group of three or so troggs were scouting out the passages for any would be survivors and it was not long before they discovered Bodley and his uncle.

His uncle bravely faced certain death and attacked the troggs. Bodley could do nothing but watch as his uncle who was being torn to shreds by the vicious beasts called out to him "Run! Run your fastest lad!", and being so helpless, Bodley did just that. For what seemed an eternity of winding passages Bodley ran his hardest while choking back the waves of emotion that were flailing around within him. Through a miracle, he eventually found the exit he had desperately been searching for. He stepped into the snow that was glistening in the moonlight before collapsing to his feet and sobbing, knowing the weight of the loss he had suffered that night. His mother and father were sure to have died, his uncle and his friends too. Bodley knew he was alone in a world completely alien to him and this terrified him.

Recent Years

In the years since the attack, Bodley has adjusted to his new way of life, but the friends and family he lost are sorely missed and forever will be. He still makes a trade out of his engineering and is adjusting to life in Ironforge, though since the attack he has taken it upon himself to learn how to wield a blade properly due to his guilt over not being able to save his uncle.

More surprisingly, Bodley has found he now has an urge to travel, despite fearing the surface world before he ever really experienced it. Now that he has been forced to live within it, he has found it to be a place of marvel and wonder and is keen to broaden his horizons one day, though in the meantime he will live in Ironforge much as he has done for the past few years, tinkering with his inventions and putting his chopper to good use.
