Appearance
When in armor, anything that will keep him alive and or help him with exploration. And as for clothing he'll wear anything that is not too tight or itches.
Other: Barlix carries a special mug that he drinks from, and will sometimes use it as a weapon. He also loves and respects his beard and ale and when anything bad happens to either one of them, he goes into a frenzy.
Personality
Barlix is a friendly Dwarf that treat all races except as an equel, except for Orcs and the Forsaken, for he believes them as horrible freaks of nature. One would be carefull when around Barlix, first time or not, because he easily gets mad and starts fighting, he really does love a good punch-up. And if one would have a Death Wish, messing with his beard (Insulting, cutting it, throwing something on it etc) or his ale would be the way to do so.
History
Barlix and his family wern't the wealthiest of Dwarves, but did manage to keep food on the table and all the needed things. With his parents owning a book store Barlix grew to love reading books about all the races, their culture, and those sort. As he grew older, Barlix first thought of becoming an architect or be like his parents and own a book store and collect books. Some of his friends told him he should be an explorer instead, and he loved the idea, so he became an explorer.
Writing what he discovered, keeping maps of the world, it was a dream come true for him. Although he did not explore right away, seeing as the Third War came he instead went to help fight. After the War, Barlix went out exploring like he wanted to.
In Roleplaying
One day when Barlix went to Loch Modan, he met a Dwarf named Therios, the leader of "The Expedition" as he said, and he asked if Barlix was interested in joining. After hearing about it Barlix couldn't sit still, he jumped on the table in excitement and celebrated, two other members came in and joined the celebration. After a while of drinking and telling tales, all the energy Barlix had left and right there he fell asleep on his chair with his precious mug in his hands.
